Department Chair and Arthur J. Fitzgibbons Professor of Philosophy at Boston College. Honorary Research Fellow at the Australian Catholic University. Studied philosophy, theology and psychology at the Catholic University of America and the Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven. Research and teaching concentrates in questions and problems found in the fields of religion and ethics. Has lectured and taught at many universities in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Active research interest in Jesuit thought, Ignatian pedagogy and formative education.
