Drawing God

Drawing God is a children's book by Karen Kiefer, illustrated by Kathy DeWitt. The story introduces Emma, a young artist whose contagious faith, creativity, and courage inspire her classmates to begin to see God. 

Drawing God encourages children to discover what inspires their very own faith imagination and to realize the contagious faith that lives powerfully within them. It is a story that seeks to inspire more people to think and talk about how and where they see God.

Every November on World Drawing God Day, individuals, families, religious education classes, and Catholic schoolchildren are encouraged to draw their own pictures of God and post them online using the hashtag #drawinggod. Images of God from all around the world are housed in the Drawing God Virtual Museum.

Use resources like downloadable kits and the Friendship Project to create your masterpiece and join friends in faith from around the world in seeing God. Share your faith imagination to have your work showcased in the online Drawing God Museum.
