The Finance Conference draws together some of the nation’s top financial services companies and professionals with esteemed faculty at Boston College for dynamic discussions on pertinent topics in the field. Past speakers have included bestselling author Malcom Gladwell; Nobel laureate for economics Paul Romer; former U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers; Fidelity’s Peter Lynch; former Governor Jeb Bush of Florida; Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Robert Steven Kaplan; and Niall Ferguson, acclaimed author and history professor at Harvard University.

About the Finance Department
Highly regarded for their research excellence in investments, capital markets, and financial institutions, the faculty in Boston College’s finance department hold more than two dozen editorial board positions with journals in finance and economics, in addition to being actively engaged in industry, government, and academic spheres. They also deliver top-notch teaching to the Carroll School’s graduate and undergraduate students of management.
