Dr. Andrea Buenaño (Dr. B) is an Instructor & Program Coordinator for the Sports Studies program at East Carolina University. She has been an Assistant Professor in Sports Administration for eight years.
Prior to becoming a faculty member, Dr. B spent 10+ years working in many facets of the sports industry, that includes a Division I student-athlete and working in professional sports, recreational sports, interscholastic athletics, Division II athletics, and most recently Division I athletics at Penn State University.
Her research involves leadership development, intercollegiate athletics, and diversity. Throughout her career, her greatest honor has been working with students and student-athletes from all walks of life who have unique experiences.
