Boston College Law School is offering a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) in Cybersecurity, Risk & Governance beginning in Fall 2025. You can learn more about the new program and apply for this upcoming Fall 2025 via the MLS webpage.
The M.S. in Cybersecurity and Certificates programs are no longer accepting applications. Preparations for the new MLS in Cybersecurity, Risk & Governance will not impact current students in the M.S. Cybersecurity program. M.S. Cybersecurity students should continue to work with the director of the M.S. program to address any administrative matters as they complete their course of study.

Our program brings together cybersecurity leaders in government, business, and academia, preparing you to leverage new technologies in compliance with regulations including the SEC Cybersecurity Rules, FTC Safeguard Rules, NY DFS Cybersecurity Regulations - Part 500, CMMC 2.0, and the EU GDPR.

Students may take up to two (2) of the four (4) online Data Analytics courses offered via the MS in Applied Economics Program at Boston College.

Boston College Continuing Education and M.S. in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance program offers two online, non-credit certificate programs in Cybersecurity Strategy and Data Privacy: GDPR & HIPAA.
Certificates may be applied towards the full MS degree program if admitted.
