Work Study

The Program offers federal work-study positions for those students who qualify. Work-study eligible employees receive training, support, and feedback from program staff in order to effectively meet the unique needs of the clients. Please contact us to learn more about the program!

The PULSE Program for Service Learning

Boston College students enrolled in the PULSE program have an opportunity to volunteer as Job Coaches in the Supported Employment Program. Students gain experience providing direct support and coaching to participants of the program.

Best Buddies

Best Buddies is an international organization that works to create one-on-one friendships for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Boston College chapter of Best Buddies works to pair college students with an individual with an IDD - often times a worker at BC or a member of one of the surrounding communities. The parties hosted monthly by Best Buddies not only provide the buddy pairs an opportunity to spend time together but also provide an opportunity for the buddies and college students, both matched in pairs and unmatched as associate members, to socialize with and meet new and different people.  The food, games, and music supplied at the parties help to create a comfortable and fun environment to promote new and lifelong friendships.
