From May 29 to June 7, adidas will donate one dollar for every hour of tracked exercise activity to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. This global digital sporting event, named the #HOMETEAMHERO Challenge, aims to reach a total of $1 million in donations through activity tracked on the apps Garmin, Zwift, Polar, Suunto, JoyRun, adidas Running, and adidas Training.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alexion's goal is to manage a robust supply chain that delivers medicines that are secure, sterile, and meet its rigorous quality standards. In addition, due to the life-saving nature of its medicines, the company strives to maintain sufficient inventory levels to ensure their supply to the patients who rely on them. Alexion has taken proactive measures to mitigate the risk of potential interruptions in supply, and it is continuing to actively monitor this dynamic and rapidly evolving situation worldwide. Similarly, Alexion is committed to serving local communities through volunteerism, even when circumstances do not allow us to do so in person. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and local stay-at-home orders, Alexion has begun offering virtual volunteering opportunities to employees.

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, Apple will be donating 10 million n95 respirator masks to the U.S. and Europe in order to fight Coronavirus.
Applied Materials
Applied Materials has partnered with Give2Asia to provide medical equipment to professionals in Wuhan who are combatting Coronavirus.
To meet urgent health needs, Applied Materials is delivering face masks and blood analysis systems to frontline medical personnel in the U.S., Europe, and China, and, at its manufacturing sites in Austin, Texas, Kalispell, Montana, and Singapore, enterprising engineers are making personal protective equipment and using 3D printers to create face shields and touchless door handles for use in their local communities.
Baxter International
The Baxter International Foundation is supporting COVID-19 response efforts by providing financial support to groups on the front lines of the pandemic- addressing the needs of patients, health workers and communities. As of the first half of the year, its humanitarian partners have distributed more than $6 million of Baxter products and the Foundation has provided more than $2.4 million in grants to charitable organizations. This includes: A $1 million grant to Save the Children, geographic-specific support to Direct Relief, Project Hope, Americares, the Red Cross, the iBio Institute and United Way, and funds for the UN Foundation/WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, IsraAID, Partners in Health and World Vision’s COVID-19 Global Emergency Response, Feeding America, and the Canadian Red Cross.
BD
BD has provided product donations, including catheters, flush products, syringes, sharps, and blood collection tubes valued at approximately $300,000 to the local Red Cross in Wuhan, which will be used to outfit two new military hospitals that will accommodate coronavirus-infected patients.
Blackbaud
Blackbaud will be making a donation to the World Health Organization and the UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund to put technology in place to fight the spread of the virus. This technology will help track the virus and provide powerful insights into how it is spreading, ensuring patients are getting the care they need; improving the buying and shipping of essential medical supplies; and accelerating efforts to develop a vaccine.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota
In response to frontline healthcare systems and community organizations needing personal protective equipment (PPE) to fill a short-term supply gap Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota engaged both Blue Cross associates and volunteers from around Minnesota. Allina Health collected more than 72,100 hand-sewn masks at its local clinics and hospitals. Kits for 14,000 masks were distributed by community partners Sew Good Goods and Treadle Yard Goods in April and May. Through a donation to Sew Good Goods, Blue Cross funded 100 kits with surgical drape material that were prepared by partner Knit & Bolt for community volunteers to make 2500 N95 mask covers for North Memorial Health in mid-April.
Campbell Soup Company
Campbell Soup Company is donating $1 million in cash and food to food banks in the communities where it operates. In addition to funding, Campbell will dedicate production runs in plants to assist local food banks until the pandemic subsides. Thirty-three Campbell hometowns across the country, from Ohio to Puerto Rico, will benefit from direct assistance.
Charles Schwab
Charles Schwab & Co. donated thousands of N95 masks and nitrile gloves from their emergency kits to local health care facilities across the country.
Citgo
CITGO Petroleum Corporation, in partnership with the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), donated 150 Kindle tablets to the Houston and Alief Independent School Districts to help support low-income students' e-learning needs during the COVID-19 school closures and subsequent move to remote learning platforms.
CMS Energy Corporation [via communication with BCCCC]
CMS Energy Corporation contributed $100,000 to Michigan State University to support the work of MSU Extension’s process to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 using commercial ovens to decontaminate used N95 masks. This will help alleviate the shortage of personal protective equipment for health care professionals and first responders and allow masks to be used an additional 20 times.
CommScope
CommScope is working with nonprofit organizations and its partners and employees to provide much needed assistance around the world for the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, Europe, and the U.S., CommScope donated product and expedited delivery of in-building wireless systems as new hospitals were built to support COVID-19 patients. Similarly, in conjunction with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), CommScope donated outdoor wireless access points and switches, free support for a year, and cash to assist with pop-up centers for emergency healthcare delivery and homework hot spots. CommScope is also providing technical support for schools in their transformation towards distance learning, producing face shields for frontline workers, and made financial donations to several organizations.
Cox Enterprises
Cox Enterprises was able to fill a portion of the critical shortage of medical gowns and other protective equipment by donating 6,000 disposable coveralls to Piedmont and Emory Healthcare on April 16.
Deere & Company
A group of Deere employees in Moline, IL continue to produce protective face shields for healthcare workers. As of May 1, the team has shipped more than 200,000 face shields and plans to produce another 200,000. While initial orders were delivered to healthcare workers in communities where our employees live and work, plans have expanded to provide shields to healthcare workers in more than a dozen states/Canadian provinces. Springfield, Missouri, was one of the most recent communities to take delivery of a shipment.
John Deere employees in India provided food and hygiene supplies to communities and personal protective equipment to hospitals and healthcare workers. The initial relief effort focused on food insecure areas in four cities – Pune, Dewas, Sirhind, and Nagpur – where Deere has factories or offices.
In China during the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, Deere dealers and customers jumped into action to help build two new hospitals in less than two weeks.
Dow Chemical
Dow to expand hand sanitizer production at additional sites in North America, Europe and Latin America. There are five Dow sites expected to produce more than 200 metric tons, equivalent to more than 880,000 eight-ounce bottles. The product will be donated to local health systems and government agencies. Deliveries and additional production is expected to begin this week.
Dow announced a commitment of $3 million to help fund COVID-19 relief efforts with donations going towards global relief organizations, as well as non-profits in communities where Dow operates. In addition, the Company announced it has begun producing hand sanitizer at its manufacturing site in Stade, Germany, and is repurposing an existing facility to produce hand sanitizer in the U.S. $2 million for immediate support of impacts caused by COVID-19. Funds will support the COVID-19 Solidarity Fund, Direct Relief, and local and regional non-profit organizations in Dow communities around the globe.
DuPont
DuPont is has donated three types of personal protective garments to the most affected areas through the China Red Cross Foundation, to protect healthcare workers and front-line personnel. DuPont also contributed probiotic products to help regulate and improve immunity. These donated materials have been allocated by the China Red Cross Foundation to the most needed areas.
FedEx
Since the beginning of 2020, FedEx has sent 10 humanitarian aid shipments of medical supplies to China in collaboration with Direct Relief. Those shipments have contained surgical caps, medical gowns, coveralls, masks, gloves, shoe covers and face shields. FedEx is also assisting a network of COVID-19 testing centers by dedicating 28 flight legs in order to move the test specimens from remote areas.
First Interstate Foundation [via communication with BCCCC]
In addition to other COVID Relief efforts, $70,000 will be granted to Native CDFI’s in their footprint. Native CDFIs were not authorized underwriters in the PPP for either round one or two because they were not SBA certified and/or their portfolio size was too small to meet requirements.
Harvard Pilgram HealthCare Foundation
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation today announced it will contribute $40,000 to Coastal Foodshed to sponsor and coordinate the New Bedford COVID-19 Meal Delivery Project. Starting Monday and running for four weeks initially, Tia Maria’s European Cafe and Destination Soups will prepare 100 daily meals for older adults and others in need in New Bedford, Mass. As part of this project, meals will be delivered to homes by New Bedford-based Yes! We Van commuter transportation services. As a result of Coastal Foodshed’s sponsorship of the meals program, at least eight local people will now be back to work helping others.
Hilton
Hilton and American Express have partnered to donate up to 1 million hotel rooms to frontline medical professionals during the COVID-19 crisis. Beginning next week, Hilton and American Express will make rooms available without charge to doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and other frontline medical staff who need a place to sleep, recharge, or isolate from their families through the end of May.
Building on its partnership with American Express to offer 1 million hotel rooms for medical professionals, Hilton is now working with José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen to provide healthy, fresh meals to medical professionals staying at participating Hilton hotels in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. – with more cities to come.
JetBlue
JetBlue is donating free flights to healthcare workers heading to New York State.
Northwell Direct and JetBlue announced that they are partnering to provide the airline with a comprehensive set of COVID-19 services and programs to support its crewmembers (employees) across JetBlue’s operation and add a clinical layer to the airline’s Safety From the Ground Up program. The customized set of solutions from Northwell Direct – a Northwell Health company that provides a broad range of health care solutions to employers in the tri-state area – will support JetBlue as it considers testing approaches for its teams in New York City, clinical concierge services for crewmembers, and consulting and advisory services for JetBlue’s leadership. The program, which is expected to evolve and expand based on needs, is designed to detect and prevent COVID-19 and to aid in the recovery of the airline industry. “Keeping our crewmembers healthy is an important pillar of our Safety from the Ground Up program. By partnering with a healthcare leader like Northwell, we are leveraging their experience to provide our crewmembers with confidence that they are healthy,” said Joanna Geraghty, president and chief operating officer, JetBlue. “Our crewmembers are doing an exceptional job in these challenging times, and are executing our Safety from the Ground Up program every day to make sure the JetBlue experience is as safe as it can be.”

Just Born Quality Confections has donated almost 15,000 gloves, 120 N95 masks, candy, Easter Baskets and PEEPS® Crocs to our local hospitals.
Kroger
The Kroger Family of Companies announced the launch of an expanded Dairy Rescue Program, designed to support children and families during the COVID-19 pandemic through the summer months. In partnership with its dairy cooperative suppliers and farmers across the Midwest and South, Kroger will process and donate about 200,000 gallons of additional milk to Feeding America food banks and community organizations through the end of August, uplifting its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste initiative.
Lowes
Lowes made a $10 million donation in essential protective products to do its part in helping to keep medical professionals on the frontlines of this crisis healthy and safe.
MetLife Inc.
MetLife Foundation committed $25 million to the global response to support communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. To help protect first responders and others, MetLife donated thousands of medical supplies to locations around the world, including facemasks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectant wipes. MetLife made properties available as housing for healthcare workers, and as hospitals, if needed. MetLife established a new paid voluntary leave program for its in-house medical professionals to help fight COVID-19. MetLife medical professionals who volunteer will be deployed in two-week rotations to hospitals and other healthcare facilities in locations across the country.
The Mosaic Co.
The Mosaic Co. donated 175 medical suits to Hubei Charity Federation and 1,000 barrels of disinfectant were provided to Beijin Chaoyan Red Cross.
Morton Salt [via communication with BCCCC]
Morton Salt and its affiliate company in Canada, Windsor Salt, are working with Feeding America, Food Banks Canada, and other partners to make product donations throughout North America, including more than 25,000 pounds of salt for La Tablée des Chefs to produce more than 1,600,000 meals for people in need in Quebec.
Motorola Solutions
Motorola Solutions and the Motorola Solutions Foundation are committing over $1 million in cash and in-kind donations to support first responders and front line health care professionals whose heroic efforts are keeping everyone protected and safe.
Nasdaq
Nasdaq is reserving an estimated $1 million of advertising time on the Nasdaq MarketSite Tower in Times Square for Public Service Address messages related to social distancing and other efforts to #flattenthecurve. In addition, to support local health care providers, Nasdaq has donated 12,000 face masks this month to the Greater New York Hospital Association, and has an on-going effort to collect additional face masks from our clients, partners, and vendors.
Nike, Inc.
Nike and a group of athletes are joining forces to donate 30,000 pairs of shoes to healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In recognition of frontline healthcare workers combating COVID-19 around the world, Nike will partner with nonprofit Good360 in the United States and local organizations across Europe to donate more than 140,000 pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment globally.
Northrop Grumman
Northrop Grumman is also focused on in-kind donations, including using 3-D printers from across the company to produce thousands of face shields a week for hospitals.
Novartis
Novartis announced a new initiative to help patients in low-income and lower-middle-income countries (LIC; LMIC) access affordable medicines to treat the major symptoms of COVID-19—a critical need in the absence of a vaccine or curative treatment. Inflammation and respiratory problems linked to COVID-19 can cause severe medical complications and can lead to death in some people, putting immense strain on fragile healthcare systems. The medicines will be made available to governments, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other institutional customers in up to 79 eligible countries at zero-profit to support financially-strained healthcare systems. Countries will have the flexibility to select the medicines in the portfolio that meet their healthcare needs.
PSEG
PSEG has donated 50,000 N95 masks to help health care workers and first responders who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Qlik
Qlik has donated data analytics technology as part of a partnership with WellSky, a health and community care technology and services company, to deliver a COVID-19 heat map feature to home-based care providers. Providers receive free access to this data that can help them more efficiently manage their PPE and better protect their staff.
QVC Inc.
Qurate Retail Group, with member company QVC, is donating QVC and HSN airtime to run COVID-19 PSAs from the non-profit Ad Council.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Regeneron is helping frontline healthcare workers by working with the Afya Foundation to send medical supplies to New-York based hospitals.
S&P Global [via communication with BCCCC]
S&P Global is providing hospitals and governments with complimentary access to its Panjiva supply chain data to help track and identify the supply of ventilators and personal protective equipment. The Company has also donated over 100,000 medical-grade face masks around the world. In India, CRISIL employees are using their corporate kitchen to serve 10,000 meals per day to the most vulnerable in Mumbai during the current lockdown.
Target
On top of Target’s previous donations of anti-viral and N95 respirator masks to first responders and healthcare professionals at more than 50 organizations across the country, the retailer also announced that it will donate an additional 2 million KN95 respirator masks to the medical community. It will continue to explore ways to secure additional inventory for those in critical need.
The United Illuminating Company (Avangrid)
AVANGRID, Inc. announced it is donating a total of 31,000 protective masks to hospitals and other institutions facing critical shortages of protective gear during the coronavirus pandemic. The donation includes 16,000 surgical masks and 15,000 N95 respirators, which will be distributed in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New York, where Avangrid Networks companies provide electricity and natural gas services. The masks are being shipped today to receiving centers in each state. In addition to the donation of masks, the AVANGRID companies have also taken steps to reinforce the electric system that provides energy to hospitals and other critical facilities whose services are essential during the crisis. Company personnel have been inspecting the electrical circuits that serve those facilities and performing maintenance work to help prevent service disruptions.
UPS
The UPS Foundation and medical product donors and relief partners MAP International, MedShare, and Good 360 provided more than 4 million respirator masks, 11,000 protective suits and 280,000 nitrile gloves to healthcare workers.
UPS subsidiary UPS Flight Forward and CVS Health Corporation will use drones to deliver prescription medicines from a CVS pharmacy to The Villages, Florida for the largest U.S. retirement community, home to more than 135,000 residents. The service will use Matternet’s M2 drone system. Drone transport offers a fast delivery option for medicines that are time-sensitive, while supporting social-distancing efforts. Drone delivery options provide individuals with a convenient alternative to visiting a pharmacy. This program can also help prioritize the protection of our healthcare heroes.
USAA
The USAA Foundation, Inc. is supporting three San Antonio organizations, Alamo Colleges Foundation, BiblioTech and SAISD Foundation, to provide needed broadband infrastructure and devices to students and low-to-moderate income households in San Antonio primarily within SAISD, where an estimated 60 percent of high school students do not have access to the internet at home. The USAA Foundation, Inc. is supporting Semper Fi & America’s Fund, providing immediate financial assistance to combat wounded, ill and injured service members. They are also partnering with Operation Gratitude, to help provide care packages for first responders and healthcare professionals across six cities where it has a corporate presence.
Verizon Communications Inc.
Verizon Media donated $10 million in advertising inventory to support mental and public health response efforts to address the novel coronavirus. The inventory will be used to raise awareness, mobilize resources, and provide campaign support including creative services and management. The company also launched Yahoo Life, a site focused on news, resources and content dedicated to wellbeing.
Walgreens
Walgreens has donated 1,500 thermometers to local health departments in Santa Clara and Alameda Counties in California.
Wells Fargo
The National Disability Institute launches COVID-19 Financial Resilience Center to provide cost-free financial resources for people with disabilities. With support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, the goal of the Center is to promote effective financial decision making and stability in response to the adverse economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wells Fargo Foundation is collaborating with national nonprofits to rapidly expand access to virtual resources and financial coaching, direct cash assistance, and other resources to help students and hourly/part-time, lower-income, immigrant, gig workers and other vulnerable populations who are facing immediate and evolving concerns about their financial security. Grant recipients include: Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education, Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, Credit Builders Alliance, National Disability Institute, National Foundation for Credit Counseling, and SAGE USA.
Xilinx
Xilinx has donated $1.1 million for COVID-19 crisis relief. Donations have been made to organizations that are critical to the global effort to combat the pandemic, to the local community in Silicon Valley, and to communities around the world including the World Health Organization, the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) COVID-19 Response Fund, the Silicon Valley Strong Fund and funds for key regions to be distributed by Xilinx regional leadership in support of local needs.

Zovio donated laptops to the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation’s Community Laptop Drive for Education to support students who do not have devices at home and empower students to participate in virtual learning.

Aflac
Aflac Incorporated, a leader in supplemental insurance at U.S. worksites, announced it has contributed $5 million to two organizations that are providing assistance for health care workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 global pandemic. The $5 million donation includes $2 million for the Global Center for Medical Innovation (GCMI), a comprehensive innovation center using innovative 3D printing to help support medical device shortages, particularly as it relates to ventilators and protective masks, as well as $3 million for Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and essential medical items to health workers responding to the coronavirus. Direct Relief is active in all 50 states. "Whether you have been directly impacted or are witnessing the global pandemic through the media, one thing is very clear: Americans are coming together to address this problem in ways we have not seen in a very long time," Aflac Incorporated Chairman and CEO Dan Amos said. "At Aflac, our mission is to be there for our policyholders in their time of need and provide value for our shareholders. In our minds, there is no better way to accomplish both of these goals than to help fill significant needs in a crisis and by delivering for our customers with more urgency than ever before."

AIG has made a donation to the New York Food Bank, donations in lieu of manpower for some canceled volunteer events, promoting the use of their 2:1 Matching Grants Program, which recently expanded to support organizations based in Canada and the UK.
Air Products
The Air Products Foundation awarded a $100,000 grant, approximately 700,000 renminbi, to assist COVID-19 recovery efforts in China, on top of an earlier donation of 500,000 renminbi, approximately $70,000, made by Air Products China to the Red Cross in China to support the most urgent medical care needs. In addition, Air Products Korea has donated KRW 100 million (equivalent to US 84,000 dollars) to the non-profit organization Community Chest of Korea to help fight against the outbreak.
Akamai Technologies
Akamai Foundation, a charitable fund endowed by Akamai Technologies, Inc. announced that it has launched a multi-tiered, multi-phased global community response to COVID-19 with a US$ 1.1 million pledge to support relief efforts. The goal of the global COVID-19 charitable giving campaign is to provide direct relief in Akamai communities, work hand-in-hand with Akamai employees in giving back, and expand the opportunity for social good beyond Akamai. The greatest portion of the global COVID-19 charitable giving program is directed towards a COVID-19 health and human essential grant program designed to deliver direct funding to organizations in communities where Akamai employees live and work, enabling them to provide critical services in response to the pandemic. Direct grants totaling close to US$ 500,000 are earmarked for 29 nominated charities in 16 countries and 21 cities. Grants provide support for hunger relief, support for health clinics, medical care and respirator purchases; and emergency child care for essential workers and vulnerable families.
Allstate
The Allstate Foundation is contributing $5 million to accelerate relief and recovery for domestic violence victims, youth in need, first responders and communities at large. Among those funds is $500,000 to help National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) support more than 100 local domestic violence organizations. As one of the most vulnerable populations, victims of domestic violence are especially at risk if they are sheltering in place with their abusers.
American Electric Power [via communication with BCCCC]
The American Electric Power Foundation committed nearly $3 million to support basic human needs and help address the hardships faced by customers and communities. Nearly 80 grants have been made to charitable nonprofit organizations across the AEP service area.
Ameriprise
In a time of critical need, Ameriprise Financial is accelerating its corporate donation schedule, making $2.5 million available immediately to nonprofits it supports. The company is expediting the grants to help cover cash flow and general operating expenses during this time of increased economic pressure on nonprofits as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Providing flexible support will help allow the nonprofits to continue to serve their communities and fulfill their missions. The firm is also allocating an additional $100,000 in COVID-19 relief to Feeding America, building on its longstanding commitment to helping end domestic hunger. Since 2009, Ameriprise and its volunteers have provided more than 84 million meals and logged nearly 310,000 volunteer hours to hunger-relief organizations across the country. The company is also donating $25,000 to the Global FoodBanking Network, which helps provide meals to individuals in 30 countries around the world.
Applied Materials
Applied Materials has partnered with Give2Asia to provide medical equipment to professionals in Wuhan who are combatting Coronavirus.
Applied Materials has increased its support to food banks at sites across the U.S. due to the unprecedented number of families these organizations are serving. In Korea, the company is helping to ensure disadvantaged children and their families gain access to nutritious meals and personal protective equipment. Additionally, by increasing matching funds available to Applied Materials employees, the company is helping its employees contribute to COVID-19 relief efforts in areas where they see the biggest need and continue supporting their favorite charities—all of which will feel the impact of the pandemic.
Arizona Public Service Electric
APS announced a $1 million contribution to help nonprofit agencies with their response to COVID-19. The company will immediately distribute $500,000 to the Arizona Community Foundation and different chapters of United Way throughout Arizona. These funds will support various nonprofit organizations directly assisting individuals and families experiencing hardship due to COVID-19. Through collaboration with a broad range of partners from different sectors, APS will work quickly to assess how the remaining $500,000 commitment can best fill resource needs across Arizona. This additional funding may be issued from the APS Foundation.
AT&T
AT&T is finalizing its $10 million commitment in 2020 to organizations working to create economic opportunities and foster upward mobility for Black and underserved communities, especially those in situations exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a $1 million contribution to Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG). Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) has been helping vulnerable youth overcome significant economic, emotional, social, and academic challenges for 40 years. Even amidst the pandemic and a virtual model, we’re encouraged that JAG participants are still experiencing high rates of graduation and job placements. This recent contribution from was instrumental, as it helped sustain JAG programs nationwide during this year of unprecedented disruption.

Banfield Pet Hospital [via communication with BCCCC]
The Banfield Foundation launched a COVID-19 Respond and Rebuild program, committing $500,000 to provide immediate support to organizations helping owned and shelter pets receive care during these unprecedented times. Additionally, Banfield’s associate relief program, the Better Together Fund, expanded its support to include COVID impact in addition to disaster relief and domestic violence. A maximum of $1,000 grants are awarded to qualifying associates to support housing, childcare, and food needs.
Bank of America [via communication with BCCCC]
Bank of America announced that it will provide up to $250 million in capital to community development financial institutions (CDFIs) by funding loans through the newly established Paycheck Protection Program. In addition, Bank of America will provide up to $10 million in philanthropic grants to help fund the operations of CDFIs. As you know CDFIs are critical sources of capital to small business and the nonprofit sector, so our efforts to support their work is ever important.
BD
BD is donating $750,000 to COVID-19 response efforts in the U.S. and internationally, in addition to the $350,000 in cash and product the Company donated to COVID-19 relief efforts in China earlier this year, bringing the Company's total COVID-19 response contributions to $1.1 million. The new funding is being deployed through six non-profit partners, to support healthcare workers in the United States, Europe, Latin America and China in their collaborative battle against COVID-19.

Berkshire Bank is providing $1 million in grants through Berkshire Bank Foundation, including $500,000 in small business assistance distributed through non-profit partners.
Black Hills Energy [via communication with BCCCC]
In April, Black Hills Energy announced plans to donate $375,000 to coronavirus relief efforts across its service area. This investment is supported by its electric and gas subsidiaries as well as the Black Hills Corporation Foundation, the charitable arm of Black Hills Energy. In August, after assessing the growing needs for energy assistance in communities across an eight-state footprint, Black Hills Energy announced the donation of an additional $223,500 from its corporate foundation to assist families in need across its service area.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana
Since mid-March, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation has granted more than $4 million to 95 nonprofits across the state working to meet the needs of communities in response to COVID-19. Efforts supported through Foundation grant funding include providing food to kids, financially insecure families and seniors, supporting healthcare needs, including securing critical supplies for providers, connecting individuals to care and mental health resources, funding direct economic support, housing assistance and keeping families financially stable, sustaining essential services disproportionately affected by stay-at-home orders, such as sober housing, services for sexual assault victims and a limited scope of education-related services, and supporting regional groups organizing disaster response in communities across Louisiana, and supporting nonprofits through community relief funds operated by local community foundations.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross), Inc. announced several steps to support Massachusetts residents and not-for-profits during the COVID-19 outbreak. Efforts include: Donating $100,000 to the Boston Resiliency Fund and committing an additional $150,000 to relief efforts across Massachusetts; Donating nearly $50,000 to organizations with whom Blue Cross has had to cancel employee volunteer projects; Honoring all financial commitments for community events, including those that have been cancelled; Launching an online giving platform that enables employees to donate directly to any Massachusetts-based not-for-profit affected by COVID-19, and matching all donations dollar-for-dollar; Launching virtual volunteer initiatives for employees; Ensuring the public has access to accurate, timely news by partnering with The Boston Globe to make its COVID-19 resource center free to the public and by producing original news reporting on what readers need to know about COVID-19 and other health issues via Blue Cross' news service, Coverage. In April, BCBSMA expanded their efforts to a total of $2 million, reallocating more than $1.75 million in community investments and strategic sponsorships to expedite unrestricted cash to help nonprofits meet operational challenges.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota
More than $825,000 has been granted to community organizations through their COVID-19 rapid response fund.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina
Commitments made by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to provide financial support to members, employers, providers, and community organizations to address the COVID-19 pandemic are projected to reach up to $593 million, with $318 million in projected costs to improve access to care and $275 million projected to address cash flow challenges facing members, employers and providers. Blue Cross NC’s swift action to increase access to care for members during the COVID-19 crisis is projected to result in up to $313 million in financial support. Blue Cross NC is also immediately providing an additional $5 million to support organizations improving access to food and other critical community needs, and is taking action to improve cash flow for members, employers and providers by providing an additional $275 million.
Booz Allen
The Booz Allen Foundation has established a $1 million Innovation Fund to help nonprofits, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, innovators at colleges and universities, and startups and small businesses harness the power of data, technology, and diverse intellectual capital to improve COVID-19 relief efforts and make a difference.
CenterPoint Energy
CenterPoint Energy has announced that its foundation will contribute $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations, agencies and causes that are committed to supporting those who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The CenterPoint Energy COVID-19 Relief Fund will include $1 million in direct contributions, as well as up to $500,000 in matching gifts for employees’ contributions to qualifying 501(c)3 organizations. Grants will be provided to qualifying nonprofits across CenterPoint Energy’s utility footprint that are working to assist individuals during the COVID-19 crisis. Employee donations will receive a match of $1.50 for every $1 donated.
Charles Schwab
Charles Schwab Foundation has committed $1.25 million in philanthropic contributions for a variety of relief efforts. $1 million in direct grants will support food banks and community funds in their 10 main employee centers, the CDC Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Emergency Response Fund.
CITGO Petroleum Corporation
The Simón Bolívar Foundation Inc. (SBF), the nonprofit, private foundation of CITGO Petroleum Corporation, is launching a special round of its small grants program to help alleviate the damaging effects of the COVID-19 crisis in Venezuela.
Citizens Bank
Citizens Bank announced a $5M commitment to support communities and small businesses dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding will support local organizations supporting small businesses, nonprofits responding to relief efforts, and small business customers with grant funding.
CMS Energy Corporation [via communication with BCCCC]
CMS Energy Corporation provided $250,000 to The Michigan Association of United Ways. This funding was distributed to United Way organizations across their service territory to assist low income and ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) residents with basic needs including household supplies, rent, child care, transportation, food and health care. Funds were also contributed directly to Michigan 2-1-1 for additional capacity to address the higher demand as a result of COVID-19.
CMS Energy Corporation awarded $450,000 to eight community action agencies working to meet the emergency needs of low- and moderate-income residents in 43 counties in the Lower Peninsula. Funding is being used to address the needs for increased food distribution sites, increased home delivered meals for children and families, senior quarantine boxes of food and other COVID-19 high risk individuals, as well as hygiene and cleaning supplies and diapers.
CMS Energy Corporation provided $390,000 to The Food Bank Council of Michigan to distribute to its regional food bank network to fill gaps where schools are unable to provide food for children, vulnerable seniors and the anticipated growing need that will surface. This will also support 5,000 quarantine boxes for isolated and home-bound senior citizens.
CMS Energy Corporation matched employee donations of any amount made to qualifying organizations including food banks, homeless shelters, community foundations and United Way are being matched dollar-for-dollar through
May 31, 2020, by the Consumers Energy Foundation.
The Clorox Co.
Clorox chairman and CEO Benno Dorer released a statement addressing Clorox's call to action to support public health in the fight against COVID-19. He announced that Clorox's three priorities are maximizing supply to get its products where they are needed, protecting the health, safety and well-being of its employees, and supporting caregivers on the front lines of fighting coronavirus. Along these lines, Clorox has established an initial $1 million Employee Emergency Relief Fund to provide coronavirus-related support for Clorox employees, and have also donated $5 million to Direct Relief, Centers for Disease Control’s Foundation Emergency Response Fund and the American Red Cross.
CoBank
CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States, today announced a series of charitable contributions totaling $1.4 million in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a specific focus on relief efforts in rural America. CoBank’s charitable response to COVID-19 will include the following: $1 million increase to Sharing Success program for 2020, $200,000 grant to the National Rural Health Association, $150,000 contribution to University of Colorado Foundation, and $50,000 matching fund for CoBank employees.
Columbia Bank [via communication with BCCCC]
Columbia Bank plans to allocate $1 million to fund two new community support initiatives – Pass it On Project for Small Business Recovery and COVID-19 Community Relief Campaign – to support small business and community recovery efforts in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Columbia will also distribute more than $500,000 to 25 organizations across the Pacific Northwest that are working to provide relief to those affected by COVID-19. Organizations receiving contributions represent all counties with Columbia Bank operations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Contributions will support response funds specific to COVID-19 and community development funds that provide support to small businesses.
Comerica Bank
Comerica Bank and Comerica Charitable Foundation will invest $4 million in community programming support and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. These funds will be primarily deployed to Community Development Financial Institutions to support strategic programs designed to meet the needs of small and micro businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.
CommScope
CommScope is working with nonprofit organizations and its partners and employees to provide much needed assistance around the world for the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, Europe, and the U.S., CommScope donated product and expedited delivery of in-building wireless systems as new hospitals were built to support COVID-19 patients. Similarly, in conjunction with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), CommScope donated outdoor wireless access points and switches, free support for a year, and cash to assist with pop-up centers for emergency healthcare delivery and homework hot spots. CommScope is also providing technical support for schools in their transformation towards distance learning, producing face shields for frontline workers, and made financial donations to several organizations.
Cox Enterprises
The James M. Cox Foundation announced its commitment to provide up to $5 million to Emory Healthcare for purchasing COVID-19 testing equipment.
Deloitte
In response to COVID-19, Deloitte committed $2 million USD to support funding the unique and varying response and relief efforts of local communities across the country. As part of this commitment, a portion went to the United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund, which provides support for the 211 network, free and confidential 24/7 hotline service that helps people find the local resources they need—whether food, health, or education resources.
Delta Dental of California [via communication with BCCCC]
The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of California and its affiliates, has pledged nearly $13 million to nonprofit organizations across 15 states and Washington, D.C., and plans to make an additional $4 million in grants available in the coming months. The company has also created a $200 million loan program for its independent dental providers whose businesses have been affected by the pandemic.
Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana [via communication with BCCCC]
Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana along with the Delta Dental Foundation, have committed nearly $90 million to support customers, dentists and nonprofit organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This included a corporate gift to help launch a program at Michigan State University dedicated to decontaminating N95 masks so that they can be safely reused multiple times.
Dutch Bros Coffee
On March 31st, the Dutch Bros Foundation pledged $1 million - $500,000 to the United Way's Safety Net Fund, $400,000 to provide food security and $100,000 distributed to their shops to support first responders, hospital and healthcare workers, and critical community service providers in the form of gift cards and product donations.
Electronic Arts
Electronic Arts Inc. and FIFA announced the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 Stay and Play Cup, as part of EA’s “Stay Home, Play Together.” initiative, that brings together and encourages the sharing of creative content, livestreams and other ways to bring the gaming community together while staying safe by staying home. EA will also donate US$1M to Global Giving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to support ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts as part of the tournament and its “Stay Home, Play Together” initiative. The tournament will also feature ways for fans and viewers to donate and support the ongoing global relief efforts to help tackle and stop the spread of COVID-19. This is in addition to donations that FIFA, who are partnering on the FIFA 20Stay and Play Cup, have previously made to other charitable organizations supporting COVID-19 relief.
EQT Corporation [via communication with BCCCC]
The EQT Foundation awarded $360,000 in grant funding to the local community foundations and food banks throughout the company’s operational footprint of southwestern Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and eastern Ohio. Six community foundation’s each received $50,000 donations that will go to support nonprofits most in need as a result of the pandemic, and between $5,000 - $10,000 was awarded to seven food banks helping to ensure mobile food distribution events continue to take place.
Evergy
Evergy is committing $2.2 million to help agencies, communities and customers respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing its 2020
planned community giving to more than $8 million. Evergy will support the community through emergency nonprofit grants, small business assistance, and support for customers in need of assitance with energy payments.
FedEx is joining forces with Heart to Heart International to donate $100,000 towards their ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts. They’ll do so this week by starting off the FedExCup Playoffs at THE NORTHERN TRUST with a birdie challenge between two PGA TOUR players. “This birdie challenge at the first event of the FedExCup Playoffs is a great way to bring visibility to Heart to Heart International and provide them additional financial support,” said Jenny Robertson, senior vice president of integrated marketing and communications at FedEx.
FedEx Corp. announced the completion of the company’s #SupportSmall Grants program. Two-hundred business owners were chosen out of almost 50,0000 applications to receive a $5,000 check as well as a $500 credit for FedEx Office® print and business services to help support their small business during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Forty-three percent of the grant recipients say they plan to use the money to upgrade or enhance their website, 40% hope to use it for marketing or advertising and 16% say they’ll create an online store. Approximately 47% of the grants were issued to minority and women-owned businesses. Grantees can use the $500 credit from FedEx Office for printing banners, posters, floor graphics, custom branded boxes and more. “We are proud to help these entrepreneurs navigate this challenging environment and are thrilled to see many of them use this grant to pivot from ‘brick and mortar’ to ‘click and mortar,’” said Brie Carere, executive vice president, chief marketing & communications officer, FedEx. “Small businesses are the backbone of communities across the country, which is why we will continue to help them keep moving forward.”

First Interstate BancSystem and First Interstate Foundation have granted over $1 million dollars, including grants helping many rural areas in Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
Fiserv
Fiserv is giving back to help small businesses get Back2Business with a program focused on helping to jump-start Black- and minority-owned small businesses in hard-hit communities. Back2Business is designed to help stabilize and grow small businesses, with business consulting services, leading Clover payments technology solutions from Fiserv and financial support for employee payroll, rent or lease payments, operations equipment and resources. In partnership with the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), Fiserv is pleased to announce the Fiserv Back2Business Grants for Small Business Program, which will award up to $10,000 to Black- and minority-owned businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and social unrest. Fiserv is equipping these businesses with vital education, coaching, and capital to truly fuel growth of its communities, creating sustainable business and shared value for all.

GM has directed $2.6M in grant funding to nonprofit organizations across the country to address increasing critical needs and has provided international relief in China and Uzbekistan.
The Hartford
The Hartford has announced that it donate $1 million to the CDC Foundation Emergency Response Fund, CDP COVID Response Fund, HFPG COVID-19 Community Fund, and Feeding America to assist these organizations as they continue their hard work of helping those who need it most.
Hilton
The Hilton Effect Foundation is investing in grants to support organizations such as World Central Kitchen and Clean the World that are fighting the spread of infection and aiding communities in need.
The Hilton Effect Foundation announced its 2020 Hilton Effect grantees, which include community-based organizations playing a direct role in COVID-19 pandemic recovery efforts. Through these grants and donations already made by the Foundation, which serves as Hilton’s primary philanthropic arm, the Foundation has now awarded more than $1 million dollars in COVID-19 community response efforts. “A core part of the Hilton Effect Foundation’s work is to support our communities around the world through both good times and bad,” said Kate Mikesell, president, Hilton Effect Foundation. “From the very start of the pandemic, we have been listening to community leaders about the direct and indirect challenges they are facing as a result of COVID-19. Based on their feedback, we have focused our grants on driving inclusive recovery and strengthening community resiliency.”

Humana has committed $50 million national and community service organizations that support essential workers, food security, and behavioral health.
JetBlue
JetBlue announced a round of rapid response grants from the JetBlue Foundation. The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected funding for non-profits and education programs. To help with immediate needs, the JetBlue Foundation issued a round of emergency grants to 12 aviation and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education grantees and partners in need of financial support to continue their critical work reaching students and communities traditionally underrepresented in these fields. The JetBlue Foundation, the first airline foundation focused solely on supporting aviation and STEM education, invited a group of previous grantees and partners to apply. This round of grants supports education programs focused on mentorship, technical education training and social justice, with a joint goal of increasing access and awareness of STEM and aviation careers. The rapid response cycle will help organizations committed to racial and gender equity that have encountered financial setbacks in achieving their missions due to the pandemic.
Just Born
Recipients of community grants from Just Born Quality Confections may re-allocate their funding from programmatical to operational support.
Just Born Quality Confections, a family-owned company since 1923, can only thrive if the community where it lives and works thrives as well. It is therefore committing $100,000 to help with relief efforts from the COVID-19 pandemic. It will partner with United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley to invest $50,000 in the COVID-19 Community Response Fund which aims to strengthen safety-net services for community members who are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. It will also invest an additional $50,000, utilizing a special grant process, for non-profit organizations on the front lines providing food and housing assistance.
KPMG LLP
KPMG in the U.S. and the KPMG U.S. Foundation Inc. have pledged to donate over $2 million to support nonprofit organizations impacted by COVID-19. The firm recently announced its plans to help local and national nonprofit organizations with the following charitable funds provided by the KPMG U.S. Foundation Inc.:$500,000 in an additional donation from the U.S. firm will go to support the DRF COVID-19 launch, which is now open to all U.S. KPMG partners and employees for personal contributions.
$400,000 in KPMG U.S. Foundation Community Impact Grants – for the first time, the KPMG U.S. Foundation is providing 800 grants in the amount of $500 each to charitable nonprofit organizations actively supported by KPMG U.S. employees.
$130,000 in COVID-19 Relief Grants – These grants, funded by the KPMG U.S. Foundation, Inc. reserves, are being equally disbursed to 501c-3 organizations where we have existing relationships at the national level.
Lam Research
Lam Research Corp. announced that it is committing $25 million for global COVID-19 relief and recovery efforts. The funds will be for short-term community assistance, including supplies to hospitals, longer-term recovery for communities, and relief funds to employees. Additionally, the company has instituted a 2-for-1 matching gift campaign for employee monetary donations to eligible COVID-19 relief programs. The funds are being distributed to communities in which Lam has a presence and will be directed to that community’s specific needs, such as food security, shelter resources, and education as well as personal protective equipment for local hospitals. As part of Lam’s support to employees and their families during this global pandemic, the company has implemented pay continuity and emergency fund programs. Additionally, Lam is giving each employee around the world below the director level a support payment of $1,000 or the globally scaled equivalent amount for those outside of the United States. The goal of the payment is to empower employees to use this relief funding where they believe it will have the greatest impact. This initiative will reach over 90% of Lam’s approximately 10,700 employees.
Liberty Mutual Insurance
Liberty Mutual Foundation commits $15 million in crisis funding to front-line organizations: Liberty Mutual lifted all restrictions on program grants for 374 organizations, to offer these organizations the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those they are serving.
Liberty Mutual Insurance announced it is providing an additional $2.15 million in grants to local nonprofit partners as part of the company’s strategic portfolio of community support in response to the coronavirus. These new grants will provide support in three critical areas: food access and distribution; elder housing with a focus on seniors who may be displaced and could be experiencing homelessness; and human services and supplies to nearly 300 immigrant families. This third phase of giving complements the $15 million in crisis grants Liberty Mutual has already distributed to nonprofit partners impacted by COVID-19 and will help provide relief to those who are unemployed as well as help supplement the social services people rely on that are currently closed or overwhelmed.
Lincoln Financial
Lincoln Financial Group announced that the Lincoln Financial Foundation has rapidly responded to the immediate needs of food providers in its local communities to help address the rising demand for their services as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lincoln Financial Group also announced that it is taking steps to support customers experiencing COVID-19-related financial challenges, including relief for retirement savers, flexibility for policyholders, and support for the community and business. The Lincoln Financial Foundation has donated a total of $2 million to more than 60 organizations across its local communities.
Lowes
Lowes has pledged $15 million to be used as grants to support the fight against coronavirus.
In total, Lowe’s has invested more than $1.1 billion in COVID-related support for associates, store safety and community pandemic relief. Lowe's expanded their efforts and announced $100 million in bonuses to recognize and reward front-line associates for their outstanding contributions. In addition to these bonuses, Lowe's increased pay for full-time, part-time and seasonal associates by $2 per hour for the month of April. The company also previously announced $87 million in profit-sharing bonuses to front-line associates in June and continues to offer telemedicine services to all associates and their families, even if they are not enrolled in Lowe's medical plans. The company has also increased its support of communities, providing a total of $70 million in donation commitments through grants and PPE product donations to those who need it most, including healthcare workers and minority-owned small businesses. Lowe’s has also announced that it is increasing its minority small business grants from $25 million to $30 million while donating an additional $25 million to its small business grant program with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), doubling the amount already committed. The additional funds will focus on rural communities, which have been hard hit by the pandemic. The total $55 million commitment makes Lowe's the largest donor to LISC's Small Business Relief & Recovery Program and COVID Rapid Relief & Resiliency Fund.
LyondellBasell
LyondellBasell announced a $1.3 million donation to support the COVID-19 response efforts of the Global FoodBanking Network and United States local food banks. LyondellBasell's donation will support food banks in 17 countries and communities where the company has major operations.
MAPFRE Insurance
MAPFRE Insurance is proud to announce that Fundación MAPFRE, a global nonprofit foundation created by MAPFRE, is donating $2.3 million to support urgent medical and community needs across Massachusetts in response to COVID-19. The funding is part of a global $38 million aid package by the foundation for medical providers and communities around the world.
MetLife Foundation
MetLife Foundation announced that it is committing $25 million to the global response to COVID-19 in support of communities impacted by the pandemic. The grant funding from MetLife Foundation will span all regions where MetLife operates, and will address both short- and longer-term relief efforts. MetLife Foundation announced that it has committed to donating $1 million to food banks across the U.S. to help them deal with increased demand for their services as a result of coronavirus. MetLife Foundation will donate funds to food banks in communities where MetLife, Inc. has a significant presence, such as the greater New York City area, Cary, N.C., Tampa, Fla., and Warwick, R.I.
Morgan Stanley
In April of 2020, Morgan Stanley announced an additional $15 million in grants to support the ongoing relief efforts to the global COVID-19 crisis. Building upon the Firm’s previously announced COVID-19 relief commitment of $10 million, this new grant supports organizations that are fighting hunger as well as organizations focused on disease control, caring for the sick, and financial support for those most vulnerable in our communities who are struggling with the economic loss. Morgan Stanley has als awarded $5 million in funding to OFN for pass-through grants of approximately $50,000 - $150,000 to eligible community development financial institutions (CDFIs) with less than $20 million in assets. This funding will help CDFIs support communities disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and will strengthen the ability of the mission-based lenders to support COVID-19 rebuilding and recovery efforts. Morgan Stanley has also donated $10 million in grants to Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) including Industrial Bank of Washington, D.C., and Citizens Trust Bank of Atlanta, GA. These grants of $5 million to each MDI will allow the banks to bolster loan loss reserves to help weather the economic impact of COVID-19 in the wake of the pandemic. In addition, the grants will help the banks assist small businesses that were affected by COVID-19, particularly those that did not receive federal relief loans, and will support additional investments into technology systems to improve delivery of customer, mortgage and business lending services.
The Mosaic Co.
Through a collaboration with the Public Health System and local communities, Mosaic will help procure and distribute hygiene kits, medical kits, PPE, and other items for people in need in Brazil for $560,500.

Motorola Solutions will prioritize its annual $9 million grant program to support organizations implementing COVID-19 response and relief initiatives.
Nasdaq
As part of Nasdaq’s $6 million philanthropic commitment, a cash donation in total of $5 million will be provided to the following programs: the Opportunity Fund’s Small Business Relief Fund; the World Central Kitchen’s #ChefsForAmerica relief efforts, and the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. Nasdaq is also double matching all employee donations to global COVID-19 relief and response efforts through the Nasdaq GoodWorks program.
National Grid
The National Grid Foundation has made a donation of $500,000 to 45 local organizations across Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island to help support hunger relief and human services for people in need and struggling from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including those providing meals to children and families, and those assisting first responders.
The National Grid Foundation has kicked off 2021 helping its neighbors with food access, human services and emergency heating fund support assisting local communities impacted by COVID-19. With a $1.5 million donation, more than 50 non-profit organizations across New York, Mass. and Rhode Island will aid thousands of individuals with basic human needs, hunger relief, and address fuel-neutral winter energy costs. During 2020, the National Grid Foundation Board of Directors approved a total of $2 million in COVID-support funding to assist communities in need, including the currently announced gift.
National Instruments
National Instruments announced that $2.5 million will be immediately deployed from the National Instruments Fund, a donor advised fund established by NI in 2019 with the Austin Community Foundation, to support global and local COVID-19 relief efforts. $1 million to be made available as a matching grant to the All Together ATX Fund, created by Austin Community Foundation and United Way for Greater Austin. The fund will provide flexible resources to nonprofit organizations working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and the economic consequences of the outbreak. The grant will match individual and corporate donations, up to a total of $1 million. $1.5 million to be deployed to nonprofit organizations that serve the other communities where NI has major global operations. The remainder of the $7 million donor advised fund is expected to be invested in STEM education and community development programs for underserved and underrepresented groups to promote opportunity and prosperity.
New Balance
The New Balance Foundation has committed $2 million in non-profit grants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support local, regional and global communities.
Boston-based New Balance Foundation then announced it has confirmed a second round of funding as part of its pledge earlier this year to donate $2 million in non-profit grants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Adding to New Balance Foundation’s initial distribution of $500,000, select organizations from the Foundation’s network of more than 60 grantees recently received a combined total of $1.25 million in New Balance Foundation COVID-19 grants. The grants provide emergency and supplemental support to organizations including human service agencies providing food, shelter, and critical aid to underserved populations; youth serving agencies helping families with food, counseling, physical activity, and virtual learning; as well as health organizations and cultural institutions.
New Relic
New Relic is supporting the communities it serves by launching a $100,000 charitable giving campaign that will match employee donations to the COVID-19 relief nonprofits in their local communities.
Nike
Nike executives are personally donating a combined $10 million to community relief efforts. Employee contributions will be matched two-to-one.
PSEG
PSEG Long Island and the PSEG Foundation are supporting the Island Harvest Food Bank in its response to critical community needs throughout Long Island as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The PSEG Foundation provided the Island Harvest Food Bank a grant of $45,000 to address rising food insecurity, including children who do not have access to school feeding programs because their schools are temporarily closed because of the public health crisis.
The PSEG Foundation announced it has committed $2.5 million in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that is devastating many of our communities. Its first and signature initiative is a $1 million donation to the NJ Pandemic Relief Fund, whose purpose is to provide support for the health care community, as well as for vulnerable age and socioeconomic groups and businesses all facing an array of challenges ranging from food insecurity to displaced workers to homelessness. In the months to come, mid-sized grants, ranging from $10,000 to $50,000, will also be directed toward regional nonprofits – such as food banks and organizations providing health and social services to the community – to address and support those suffering from the medical, social and economic impacts of COVID-19. PSEG donated another $1.5 million at the end of 2020 to 14 organizations throughout New Jersey and Long Island, bringing the total donations to $5 million.
PwC
As part of its Project HOPE initiative, PwC is donating $2.85 million in grants to focus on areas of need. PwC is also donating $500,000 to disaster relief organizations to deliver personal protective equipment including N95 masks and essential items to healthcare providers.
PwC Charitable Foundation, Inc. announced new grants totaling $2.85 million to support communities most impacted by COVID-19. $500,000 to Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund to assist in mobilizing the distribution of emergency food boxes through Feeding America's network of 200 food banks across the country, including low-income families and children who may no longer have access to school meals, as well as seniors.
$500,000 to Direct Relief to support efforts to help contain the spread of COVID-19 by obtaining and delivering personal protective equipment to frontline health workers at community health centers (CHCs) and clinics, and increasing support for CHCs' management of patients with chronic illnesses, who are at greater risk for COVID-19.
$1.5 million to be distributed locally to address specific challenges cities are facing. The PwC Foundation is designating funds for nonprofit organizations to address community needs across the U.S.
QVC Inc.
Qurate Retail Group, with member company QVC, committed $10 million to global COVID-19 relief efforts for urgent needs in its communities worldwide. Among other areas, this initiative will provide an inaugural corporate grant to Nest’s Personal Protective Equipment Purchase Initiative, helping artisan businesses survive by shifting production to high quality PPE.
S&P Global
The S&P Global Foundation has so far allocated $4 million in new funding for a mix of national and global COVID-19 relief efforts, which will support first responders, help the hungry, provide medical supplies, support small business, and meet other critical needs. This includes support for the Business Roundtable’s partnership with Project HOPE, to source and distribute masks and other protective equipment for donation to the U.S. medical community.
Samsung Electronics North America
Since the onset of COVID-19, Samsung has worked to supply Samsung products and technology to aid frontline healthcare workers in local hospitals across New York and New Jersey. To assist school systems with their transition to remote learning, they have built on the 10 years of their Solve for Tomorrow program by expediting the delivery of nearly $3 million in technology and supplies to local schools across the country by awarding 20 Schools for Tackling Mental Health, Climate Change and More in its $3 Million STEM Competition. Each National Finalist school will receive $50,000* in Samsung technology and classroom supplies, and a trip to New York City to pitch their project to a panel of judges to compete for the grand prize.The general public will also elect one Community Choice Winner from the pool of National Finalists to receive an additional $10,000* in Samsung technology for their school.
To support local needs in the states with their largest workforces – California, New Jersey, and Texas – Samsung will donate $1 million to each of the following four locations: New Jersey: The newly formed New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund by the Community Foundation of New Jersey and First Lady Tammy Murphy, which will raise funds and organize and coordinate resources for New Jersey’s most vulnerable.

To address educational needs, Samsung will donate $300,000 through their Solve for Tomorrow partner, DonorsChoose, to benefit Keep Kids Learning which provides much-needed assistance for widespread closures in school districts around the country, focusing on California, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Texas and Washington. Here’s how it works: You make a donation of any amount to Keep Kids Learning. All donations go to teachers at schools serving low-income communities where nearly all students are eligible for free and reduced lunch. Teachers select the materials they need and distribute them to students at home.
Samsung Austin Semiconductor donated $1 million to support organizations responding to the coronavirus pandemic in Central Texas:

TD Ameritrade pledged $1 Million to the CDC Foundation’s Combat Coronavirus Fund and $500,000 to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund. TD Ameritrade opened up their Community Grants Program to organizations impacted by and/or working to meet urgent local community needs resulting from COVID-19 to efficiently provide $850,000 in low-threshold grants to nonprofit organizations serving their communities in this challenging time. TD Ameritrade increased their employee Matching Gifts Program from a one-to-one match to a two-toone match for donations to any eligible nonprofit organization from April 8th through May 31st. TD Ameritrade is encouraging their associates to continue utilizing their Dollars 4 Doers program to support eligible nonprofits of their choice, via virtual and/or socially distant volunteer opportunities. As a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Responder Program,TD Ameritrade makes a proactive annual commitment of $250,000 to ensure Red Cross can respond immediately whenever and wherever help is needed.
TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, awarded 32 local organizations from Maine to Florida nearly $5 million through its 15th Annual Housing for Everyone grant competition. The Housing for Everyone program has awarded more than $32 million in grants to over 500 community organizations since 2005. The 2020 competition focused on supporting organizations that provide direct rent relief and supportive services to individuals hit hardest by the pandemic. To commemorate the 15th anniversary of Housing for Everyone, the TD Charitable Foundation increased the total amount of grants to be awarded by 30%, from $3.75 million to $4.9 million. Grants ranging from $125,000 - $250,000 were awarded to organizations working to help COVID-impacted households remain in safe, affordable rental units.
TELUS
TELUS Friendly Future Foundation has announced a $10 million commitment to help urgently support and enhance public healthcare capacity and community response across Canada. This new funding will go toward purchasing new medical technology and equipment, such as ventilators, as well as increased support for food security, outreach to isolated seniors, virtual education programs, and mental health initiatives.
Texas Instruments
The TI Foundation has granted a total of $550,000 to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, United Way Bay Area, North Texas Food Bank and United Way partners in Sherman, Texas, Houston, Tucson and Portland, Maine. These grants will support the most immediate, critical relief efforts in their communities.
Update: The Texas Instruments Foundation donated $5 million to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas in order to support urgent community needs as well as long-term impacts. The grant will go toward education, income, and health in North Texas.
TI and the TI Foundation have committed more than $10 million toward global COVID-19 relief efforts through grants, in-kind donations and employee/retiree giving.
Texas Mutual
Texas Mutual has committed $2 million in grant funding or nonprofit organizations across the state that are vital to COVID-19 relief and recovery. The grants will go to 40 nonprofit organizations, including Meals on Wheels, United Way, local food banks, community health organizations, and more that are on the front lines of the COVID-19 efforts. It has also donated $50,000 to All Together ATX, a partnership of Austin Community Foundation and United Way for Greater Austin, focused on lifting all Central Texans and the organizations that support them. Additionally, a number of nonprofit organizations that received workforce development grants from Texas Mutual earlier this year have been released to use those grants not just on specific programs but for meeting the needs they have now, whether that is payroll for staff or supplies to serve those in need. Texas Mutual has also assisted Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas by catering meals from locally owned restaurants since volunteers aren’t able to prepare meals for residents during this time.
Umpqua Bank
Umpqua Bank has pledged $1 million in community support, and is expediting donations to several COVID-19 Response Funds focused on meeting the needs of low-income and culturally-diverse residents and workers across its footprint. The company is also making investments in nonprofit organizations providing micro loans and capital to small businesses; expanding eligibility for its Community Grants program; and increasing its associate match program from a 100% match to a 300% match for select nonprofits.
UPS
The UPS Foundation announced it has expanded its response to the novel Coronavirus, including new grant allocations, surpassing $6 million to United Nations agencies, humanitarian relief partners and community-based non-profit and international non-government organizations.
The UPS Foundation allocates $15M to U.S. community organizations and worldwide non-profits in the fight against Coronavirus and to support the road to recovery in funding for non-profit organizations around the world, with a focus on the United States. The funding will aid communities impacted by the novel Coronavirus and support non-profits fulfilling their missions now and into the recovery phase.The grants include an initial $1M directed toward urgent and immediate relief in the United States, including delivering life-sustaining healthcare supplies, providing essential food, supporting education, and sustaining financial security.
UPS is providing a $100,000 contribution to the University of Louisville (UofL)to fund promising research into blocking the novel coronavirus from infecting human cells. UofL is seeking to fast-track development, including application to the Food and Drug Administration for approval to start treating patients seriously affected with COVID-19.
USAA
USAA and The USAA Foundation, Inc. have committed a total of $2.3 million to military-focused and national nonprofits to support America's response to the coronavirus pandemic, including the Association of Defense Communities/Blue Star Families COVID-19 Military Support Initiative, Fisher House Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, USO and We Care for America Foundation.
The funds will help provide meals and emergency financial assistance for military families, care packages for troops deployed overseas, and the development of best practices and policy recommendations to respond to and recover from COVID-19.
USAA has also donated $2.1 million directed to local nonprofits in USAA communities including in San Antonio, Phoenix, Tampa, Colorado Springs, Dallas/Fort Worth and southeastern Virginia to support their response to COVID-19. In addition, USAA will match employee donations of up to $500 to nonprofits. In all, USAA has donated more than $5.5 million to non-profits responding to COVID-19.
The USAA Foundation, Inc. made contributions that will support COVID-19 vaccine research and treatment efforts through the Southwest Research Institute, Texas Biomedical Research Institute, UT Health San Antonio, UTSA, San Antonio Partnership for Precision Therapeutics (SAPPT) and Vaccine Development Center of San Antonio (VDCOSA). In addition, these funds will expand critical COVID-19 testing capacity with a new Panther System at UT Health San Antonio for patients and health care workers on the front lines.
In August 2020, USAA announced its commitment of an additional $30 million to benefit 24 organizations assisting military families during these challenging economic times. The donation is part of USAA’s long standing mission to support military and veterans’ families, and in recognition of the specific impact the COVID-19 health crisis has had on the military community. The $30 million commitment marks the largest one-time philanthropic contribution in USAA’s nearly 100-year history and awards $20 million to U.S. military aid societies and organizations.

U.S. Bank announced new programs to support its communities in response and recovery efforts during these unprecedented times. A new $30 million commitment to human services organizations and local nonprofits will support COVID-19 recovery efforts in communities across the country.

Walgreens provided an initial response donation to its Emergency Response Fund, including a $100,000 gift to support the overall COVID-19 response
Webster Bank
Webster Bank will donate $250,000 to support nonprofit organizations throughout the bank’s footprint. These funds will help provide urgent services to the public during the COVID-19 outbreak, including support for Feeding America Food Banks and to the American Red Cross’ COVID-19 fund that supports disaster relief and blood services.
Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo has pledged $6.25 million to support domestic and global response to the Coronavirus. $1 million will go to the CDC Foundation and $250,000 to the International Medical Corps. Wells Fargo also announced Aid for Customers and Communities Impacted by COVID-19, including suspending residential foreclosure sales, fee waivers and acceleration of $175 million in donations to help the most vulnerable.
Along with a number of grants, Wells Fargo is providing $250,000 to Neighborworks Housing Solutions in Quincy, MA in order to assist families with short-term financial assistance in the wake of COVID-19.
Wells Fargo announced launching a $400 million small business recovery effort to help small businesses impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic keep their doors open, retain employees, and rebuild. The company will engage nonprofit organizations to provide capital, technical support, and long-term resiliency programs to small businesses with an emphasis on those that are minority-owned businesses. “By donating approximately $400 million in processing fees to assist small businesses in need, Wells Fargo’s Open for Business Fund creates opportunities for near-term access to capital and addresses the road ahead to meaningful economic recovery, especially for Black and African American entrepreneurs and other minority-owned businesses,” said Wells Fargo CEO Charlie Scharf. “Wells Fargo is committed to helping small businesses impacted by COVID-19 stay open and get back to growth.”
In September 2020, the Wells Fargo Foundation donated $5.4 million to 15 nonprofit organizations so people affected by COVID-19 can stay in their homes. Up to 40 million U.S. tenants affected by the COVID-19-related economic downturn may face eviction once federal eviction protections end, according to Aspen Institute and the COVID-19 Eviction Defense Project. In response to this emerging crisis and as part of its commitment to provide $175 million in COVID relief, the grants will focus on providing legal assistance, advocacy services, and other initiatives.
Renters, including people of color, are disadvantaged in being able to build equity and wealth as the Bay Area grapples with recovery from the economic fallout and housing instability caused by COVID-19. To address this ongoing issue, Wells Fargo, NeighborWorks® America, and its network member Community Housing Development Corporation announced the NeighborhoodLIFT program, a $9.5 million collaboration funded by the Wells Fargo Foundation to boost homeownership in the Bay Area for low- and moderate-income individuals. The NeighborhoodLIFT program will offer $25,000 in down payment assistance to 359 eligible homebuyers. Because of COVID-19, the NeighborhoodLIFT program for six Bay Area counties is redesigned to virtually assist low- and moderate-income homebuyers purchase a home in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties through the collaboration with the nonprofits.
The U.S. Conference of Mayors and Wells Fargo announced 2020 CommunityWINS™ grants to eight nonprofits to advance housing affordability solutions in local communities. The grants totaling $1 million recognize outstanding mayoral-nominated initiatives that assist their city in reducing the cost burden of housing and increase access to safe, affordable places to live. Each nonprofit will receive funding aimed at assisting cities with the opportunity to invest, strengthen, and address housing affordability issues in municipalities across the United States. “Even prior to the economic fallout caused by COVID‑19, many vulnerable households were struggling with housing solutions,” said Nate Hurst, president of the Wells Fargo Foundation. “To foster a truly inclusive recovery, we have to recognize that the challenge of housing is even more profound in communities of color and be intentional about prioritizing the needs of underserved communities. CommunityWINS is an important example of the public and private sectors working together to help more people have a safe, affordable place to call home.”
Community Relief Fund

Altria Group, Inc. announced that it has committed $1 million to support immediate local coronavirus relief efforts in its headquarters community of Richmond, VA, and its other manufacturing and grower communities. As part of this initial investment, Altria provided $500,000 to the Community Foundation of Greater Richmond’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
Arizona Public Service Electric
APS announced a $1 million contribution to help nonprofit agencies with their response to COVID-19. The company will immediately distribute $500,000 to the Arizona Community Foundation and different chapters of United Way throughout Arizona. These funds will support various nonprofit organizations directly assisting individuals and families experiencing hardship due to COVID-19. Through collaboration with a broad range of partners from different sectors, APS will work quickly to assess how the remaining $500,000 commitment can best fill resource needs across Arizona. This additional funding may be issued from the APS Foundation.
BBVA
BBVA USA is deploying a total of $2 million in corporate contributions to organizations that are able to implement footprint-wide efforts that support low-to-moderate income communities impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This effort includes grants to food banks and small business support through Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support micro and small businesses.
In parallel with its global holding company, BBVA USA has also begun working to procure essential materials and other public health support for nonprofit partners, including gloves, hand sanitizer and N95 masks. The bank is working to procure these items for distribution in April and May through its existing purchasing partners.
BBVA Group earlier announced its commitment of €35 million, helping health authorities and social organizations and fostering scientific research in countries where it operates.
BBVA USA is also providing rent relief to its third-party tenants in bank owned buildings for the month of April. The relief includes rent, all common area maintenance, parking and utilities. The bank will continue to monitor the need for additional rent relief support.
BBVA USA is engaging employees in virtual volunteerism in an effort to support community partners in locations across its footprint. Virtual volunteer efforts will include attendance in partners’ virtual board meetings, instructing online financial education classes, and mentorship through digital channels. Local BBVA employee volunteer chapters will be reaching out to partners to identify remote volunteer opportunities that can be performed during the duration of the pandemic.
The BBVA Center for Financial Education, an initiative to improve financial health and capabilities, will transition its in-person workshops to virtual education with a special focus on low-to-moderate income communities. The Center is developing new financial education material to specifically address the needs of communities impacted by COVID-19 such as mobile banking and debt management. Virtual workshops will begin in early April with nine (9) community partners, and will expand in May.
Boston Resiliency Fund
John Hancock, Liberty Mutual, MassMutual and Vertex Foundation are among the companies that have contributed to the Boston Resiliency Fund, which is designed to provide food to Boston's children and older adults, technology to Boston Public Schools students for remote learning, and support to first responders and health care workers so they can effectively do their jobs.
CBRE Group, Inc.
CBRE Group, Inc. has launched a COVID-19 Relief Fund to support community and employee needs around the world. The campaign will raise a minimum of $15 million, with a foundational donation from the company of $10 million, plus an employee contribution program. The company will match employee contributions at a dollar-for-dollar rate or greater, if necessary, to meet the $15 million minimum.The CBRE COVID-19 Relief Fund will support organizations that: provide frontline healthcare workers with personal protective equipment and essential medical supplies; alleviate hunger that results from the pandemic; best address the most pressing local needs around the world based on employee input.

CEMEX has carried out close to 30 sanitizations of key areas in different cities in just 15 days in Mexico. The work by CEMEX, their partners, local governmnets, and volunteers, have aided to the protection of the local community.
Citizens Financial Group Inc.
Citizens Bank today announced a $5 million commitment to support communities and businesses dealing with impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. These resources will back both a number of broad-based community support initiatives across the Citizens service area as well as specialized programs focused on providing aid to small businesses and their workforces.
CMS Energy Corporation [via communication with BCCCC]
CMS Energy Corporation distributed $10,000 grants totaling $360,000 to 36 community foundations supporting nonprofits in 59 Michigan counties with emergency relief. An additional $90,000 was distributed to more than 120 organizations focused on coronavirus relief in communities across the state.
Coast Capital Savings
The Coast Capital Community Relief Fund has been launched to provide flexible grants for nonprofit organizations -- located in the communities the company serves -- that are struggling with immediate lost revenue due to COVID-19. In an effort to increase funding to those frontline organizations in crisis, Coast Capital Savings will award one-time operating grants up to $10,000. Additionally, the company has set aside funding to support small businesses facing extreme hardship during this time.
Consumers Energy
The Consumers Energy Foundation is supporting two statewide organizations with a $500,000 contribution to help enhance critical services for Michigan children, vulnerable seniors and those who may need assistance.
Delta Dental of Colorado
To help with providing aid to support Colorado communities and organizations affected by the recent outbreak of COVID-19, Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation is a supporter of the Colorado COVID Relief Fund. Funds will provide flexible resources to organizations in our state working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by the outbreak.

The Delta Dental Foundation established a $600,000 COVID-19 Relief Fund to help support safety net dental clinics and dental schools providing emergency dental services during the pandemic. The fund also provided grants to hospitals, food banks, and other nonprofit organizations focused on providing basic needs services related to the pandemic. Exelon Corporation
Exelon has contributed $5.7 million to directly support nonprofit organizations involved in COVID-19 response efforts. Their donations target three critical focus areas: hunger relief and basic necessities; financial hardship; and health, specifically the Red Cross efforts to address the critical blood shortage. Exelon Corporation is also encouraging their employees to support response efforts through their Matching Gifts program (dollar-for-dollar match up to $5,000) and volunteerism, with a focus on donating blood, supporting food banks and virtual opportunities.
Fifth Third Bank
The Fifth Third Foundation announced a $75,000 philanthropic commitment to help address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Toledo. The funds from the Fifth Third Foundation have been deployed to meet the immediate needs of individuals in the community that seek assistance from Connecting Kids to Meals and Mobile Meals of Toledo, Inc.
Fifth Third Bank pledged $25,000 to The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida to alleviate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the area. The funds are specifically directed to Florida’s First Coast Relief Fund, which will provide food assistance, child care support, short-term housing, technological support, and financial aid to families in Northeast Florida.

The team General Motors and Ventec Life Systems assembled to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic delivered its 30,000th V+Pro critical care ventilator to the U.S. Department of Health and Human. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, GM and Ventec collaborated to rapidly scale up production of critical care ventilators. In one month, the teams went from an introductory phone call to delivering life-saving technology to frontline medical heroes. The full federal order was completed in just 154 days, with one ventilator completed about every seven minutes.

Green Shield Canada (GSC) is committing $500,000 to support communities across Canada impacted by the pandemic. Harvard Pilgram HealthCare Foundation has given more than $3 million toward COVID-19 relief efforts.
In their first joint community investment, the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation and Tufts Health Plan Foundation are giving $1 million to 42 organizations across the region to expand vaccine education, awareness and outreach in communities of color. Five Maine organizations will receive a total of $125,000 in funding. Just one month after Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan announced their combined organization, this investment is an immediate response to emerging needs in Black and Brown communities across the region disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

Research shows that the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted communities of color from housing and jobs to healthcare. The Paramount Pictures Volunteer Crew, which is committed to supporting our community partners with service, will support this information gathering initiative with the goal of 25 employees each contributing 4 hours or more in their virtual phone bank to encourage LA County residents to complete the survey throughout the month of February. Philadelphia COVID-19 Fund
Supported by companies such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Vanguard, the PHL COVID-19 Fund will rapidly and equitably deploy solutions and resources to help our nonprofit community navigate near-and longer-term challenges from COVID-19 and ensure that critical resources remain available for those in our community who need it most.
Salt River Project
In April 2020, Salt River Project donated $1.35 million in contributions to assist its community who might be experiencing a hardship as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. This included $500,000 to several local non-profit organizations, including the Valley of the Sun United Way, Mesa United Way and the Arizona Community Foundation. The funds helped these nonprofit agencies and several others to provide basic needs services and also to assists customers struggling to pay their electric bills due to COVID-19. SRP also donated $100,000 to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund to support Arizonians in need and frontline medical workers. SRP provided additional COVID relief funds to nonprofit organizations throughout its current fiscal year which runs May 2020 to April 2021. A special criteria was developed to grant COVID relief funds. Granting to nonprofits have included increased flexibility by providing general operating support in lieu of in-person event sponsorship. Restrictions for in-person event sponsorships are planned through June 2021. SRP also had more than 300 employees sign up to volunteer at a COVID vaccine site. In exchange, these volunteers will receive their first vaccine the day they volunteer and are considered ‘healthcare providers’ to allow them to schedule their second vaccine according to guidelines.
Samsung Electronics North America
Samsung is continuing their community outreach by donating $4.3 million in COVID-19 relief to local partners in neighborhoods where a majority of our U.S. employees live and work. These donations build upon their global efforts to date, which now surpass $33 million.
Since January, Samsung has donated USD 29 million worth of funds and goods to governments and communities that have been most affected by COVID-19 to help with their relief efforts, including the purchase of medical supplies and hygiene kits, such as face masks. They are donating smartphones to patients in quarantine to help them keep in touch with their families and friends, as well as air purifiers and other appliances to hospitals and quarantine centers. They are also donating tablets to educational institutions so that children can continue to learn outside of the classroom, and they are making their CSR education modules available online so that children have access to more enriching content at home.
Seattle Foundation
The COVID-19 Response Fund housed at Seattle Foundation has grown from $2 million to over $9 million in just three days since its launch on Monday. The Fund—created by a coalition of philanthropy, government, and business partners—now totals $9.2 million. In the coming weeks, it will rapidly deploy resources to community-based organizations on the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak in the greater Puget Sound region. Premera Blue Cross joined donors in contributing to the Seattle Foundation's COVID-19 Response Fund in support of local organizations on the frontlines of the region's coronavirus outbreak. Thanks to a rapid, generous response, the Fund received new commitments totaling nearly $7 million in just three days.
Tanger Outlets
Tanger has been working with a variety of nonprofit partners. Tanger stepped up and offered all of centers as destinations for American Red Cross blood drives, which are able to fill critical blood units while also maintaining appropriate social distancing protocols for participant and healthcare worker safety. The first blood drive in Charleston resulted in 129 lives being saved! Each one since has delivered similar results. Beyond this, Tanger has offered its parking lots as staging areas for local PD/EMS as needed. The Tanger teams have made local donations of medical supplies for local hospitals that will help treat over 20,000 patients.
Tanger is currently working with its tenants to facilitate the monetization of excess inventory when its centers, substantially all of which are open-air, re-open. The Company continues to provide its properties for blood drives, food collection sites, curbside food pick-up, law enforcement and emergency medical services staging areas and related services to the communities it serves.

CEO Darren Entwistle shared with TELUS team members that he will be forgoing 100 per cent of his salary over the next three months and donating the funds to healthcare workers on the frontlines battling COVID-19. In addition, the Entwistle Family Foundation will match the donation to double the positive financial impact for caregivers, and by extension, those vulnerable citizens who urgently require support. This matched contribution will also support funding for our Internet for Good student program, which offers youth from kindergarten to grade 12 in British Columbia and Alberta high-speed internet at home for only $9.95 per month, ensuring students stay connected to vital learning opportunities while home from school.

The TI Foundation has granted a total of $550,000 to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, United Way Bay Area, North Texas Food Bank and United Way partners in Sherman, Texas, Houston, Tucson and Portland, Maine. These grants will support the most immediate, critical relief efforts in our communities.

The TD Ready Commitment to work with the Canadian Association of Community Health Centres and the U.S. National Association of Community Health Centers to support COVID-19. To help increase access to care, initial financial support will give boost to services and programs designed for the most vulnerable populations in Canada and U.S.
TD Bank has also announced the 3rd Annual TD Ready Challenge, its annual North American initiative that supports organizations developing innovative solutions for a changing world. This year, the company has made the decision to focus the 2020 TD Ready Challenge on supporting innovative solutions that address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's TD Ready Challenge is part of the $25 million (CAD) that TD has allocated to help strengthen community resilience and COVID-19 recovery through the TD Community Resilience Initiative.
Tufts Health Plan
Tufts Health Plan Foundation announced it is providing funding to 18 additional nonprofit organizations as part of the $1 million it has committed to support community efforts on behalf of older people affected by the coronavirus. This second wave of funding, totaling $345,000, focuses on housing and equity efforts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
Tufts Health Plan Foundation has identified the first 21 organizations to receive support from the $1 million it has committed to community efforts on behalf of older people affected by coronavirus in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut. The organizations include area agencies on aging that provide meals and other support services to older people, food banks, and community organizations that are serving as hubs for collaborative regional responses. They have given current grantees flexibility on using existing funds, suspended reporting requirements and they're working to accelerate payments to current grantees to ease the financial pressures they are facing. These expedited payments will give community organizations an additional $1.5 million to support emerging priorities.
The United Illuminating Company (Avangrid)
The Avangrid Foundation and AVANGRID, Inc. today announced a $2 million commitment to support national and local organizations that support vulnerable communities as they deal with the coronavirus pandemic.Avangrid will commit $1 million in corporate funds which will be distributed across its service territories to support emergency needs in communities at the state and local level. The AVANGRID family of companies includes Avangrid Renewables and eight electric and natural gas companies in New York, Maine, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

A special COVID-19 pay policy was developed to enable Banfield Pet Hospital associates to take the time they need away from work during the outbreak without added stress, whether to prioritize their own health and wellbeing or to care for their loved ones. The company is temporarily expanding company-paid sick leave and has modified its PTO policy for COVID-19-related circumstances. If any associates or their family members need extra emotional support during this time, they have access to free support from professional counsellors in person, via phone, or through video calls. Clinicians are available 24/7.
BBVA
Virtual volunteer efforts will include attendance in partners’ virtual board meetings, instructing online financial education classes, and mentorship through digital channels. Local BBVA employee volunteer chapters will be reaching out to partners to identify remote volunteer opportunities that can be performed during the duration of the pandemic. “Banks are considered essential businesses during this crisis, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We believe we can be an important part of the solution,” said Ocañas. “Coming at this from a position of strength, we can and will step forward to help improve the situation wherever we can.”
In recent weeks, bank employees have been offered assistance in areas of health insurance, financial protection and work environment safety precautions. The bank made the benefits available to employees across its footprint in order to safeguard teammates during the ongoing outbreak. BBVA USA is engaging employees in virtual volunteerism in an effort to support community partners in locations across its footprint.

BD has provided support to local health organizations in China through in-kind donations of $300,000 in products to the Wuhan Red Cross to help support response efforts and a $50,000 donation to Project Hope for the provision of personal protective equipment for frontline health care workers in China. BD is also announcing new products to help in the diagnostics of COVID-19, including a molecular test for detection of COVID-19 for clinical laboratories in countries recognizing the CE mark.

Blackbaud
To continue to empower employees’ drive to support causes they care about, Blackbaud increased its employee matching gift program for the second time since January, bringing the increase to 30% in 2020. The company also began rolling out “virtual volunteerism” programs, which will augment the more than 100,000 hours its employees physically donate each year.
Campbell's Soup Company
Campbell’s announced new support for teams at its manufacturing plants, distribution centers and in-store field-based sales, as they work to ensure neighbors have food during this critical time, including a $2 per-hour premium payment for hourly employees at all of the Company's production facilities and distribution centers; and a $100 per-week premium payment for front-line supervisors, certain site staff and depot managers who are reporting to work as essential infrastructure workers. This incentive also includes employees who oversee the Company's sales execution teams that are in stores and working with customers and independent distributors to ensure that store shelves are stocked. These premium payments will be extended to approximately 11,000 front-line team members who make, sell, and distribute products to retail customers across the country. These temporary benefits, implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be in place for at least five weeks beginning March 29. Campbell’s has asked all employees and contractors who can work from home to do so.
Capital One
Capital One has requested that employees work from home if they can, and will space out branch workers and others who can’t work remotely to help reduce density in workplaces.

CBRE Group, Inc. will also earmark $5 million of the Fund for employees who are facing financial hardship due to COVID-19. Two types of assistance will be available: Immediate Response Program, which will quickly disburse grants of up to $500 for food or other immediate needs.

CenterPoint will be desanitizing their equipment and facilities for their workers as well as equipping employees with additional safety equipment in order to make sure any home visits are safe.

Charles Schwab Foundation launched a special 2:1 employee match program to support more than 1,100 organizations who are responding to a variety of community needs, up to $250,000.
Cigna
Cigna was featured in an article in the Hartford Business Journal, recognizing its efforts to make corporate volunteerism a virtual experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Judy Hartling, civic affairs lead analyst at Cigna offered: “Nonprofits have been very creative in shifting to more online and virtual ways to volunteer. While nothing can replace hands-on help, I think that organizations that are pivoting to really capture the value of people’s volunteerism virtually are definitely going to benefit in the long run.”
The Clorox Co.
Clorox chairman and CEO Benno Dorer released a statement addressing Clorox's call to action to support public health in the fight against COVID-19. He announced that Clorox's three priorities are maximizing supply to get its products where they are needed, protecting the health, safety and well-being of its employees, and supporting caregivers on the front lines of fighting coronavirus. Along these lines, Clorox has established an initial $1 million Employee Emergency Relief Fund to provide coronavirus-related support for Clorox employees, and have also donated $5 million to Direct Relief, Centers for Disease Control’s Foundation Emergency Response Fund and the American Red Cross.

Cox Enterprises has an established employee relief fund that has given more than $4 million to employees since its inception. Employees who are impacted most by the COVID-19 pandemic have the opportunity to apply for relief.

John Deere Foundation announces a 2-for-1 match for employee donations up to $250,000 to select home-community food banks and American Red Cross chapters. For example, employee donations of $250,000 plus the Foundation's $500,000 match would provide $750,000 in much-needed support to these organizations. The company also announced it will waive copays, coinsurance, and deductibles for COVID-19 testing for employees.
Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana [via communication with BCCCC]
Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana established a fund to provide every licensed dentist in their tristate region a $1,000 credit for dental products and personal protective equipment, so they can maintain care and keep their communities healthy as patients begin seeing their dentists again.
DuPont
DuPont is has donated three types of personal protective garments to the most affected areas through the China Red Cross Foundation, to protect healthcare workers and front-line personnel. DuPont also contributed probiotic products to help regulate and improve immunity. These donated materials have been allocated by the China Red Cross Foundation to the most needed areas.

Employees with symptoms or a positive COVID-19 test results will be granted an additional two weeks of paid sick leave. Dutch Bros is partnering with ASRV to provide our employees with masks in a buy one, give one program. Each mask purchased will allow 1-3 masks to be donated to areas where medical professionals are most in need of them. Dutch Bros is providing an extra $3 thank you pay through the end of April to baristas who choose to continue working.
Estée Lauder Companies
On #GivingTuesdayNow, Estée Lauder created the ELC Cares Employee Relief Fund. The fund will provide critical financial relief to ELC employees worldwide who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FedEx
FedEx is working with relief organizations to transport urgently-needed supplies quickly and efficiently to those who need it most. The company has delivered humanitarian aid to China on behalf of multiple organizations including Direct Relief since Jan. 31. The aid has been sent to hospitals and local governments in need. These shipments include masks, face shields, coveralls, shoe covers and gloves. FedEx is also working with International Medical Corps to ship face masks and medical supplies to the Philippines for Coronavirus protection. FedEx is helping humanitarian aid organization, Direct Relief ship and distribute 250,000 N95 masks to other personal protective equipment to nearly 1,000 community health centers and free clinics in all 50 states that are playing a critical frontline role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The deliveries by FedEx are a part of FedEx Cares' "Delivering for Good Initiative."
Fifth-Third Bank
Fifth-Third Bank announced that it is giving a special payment to employees who are providing essential banking services to customers during the coronavirus pandemic. Fifth Third will provide its customer service and other employees who work on site a special payment of up to $1000, which will be paid in $500 installments in April and May.

First Interstate employees have personally supported the local programs in their communities by building food boxes, delivering meals to seniors, sewing masks, and donating dollars. Their 'Our Neighbors Feeding Neighbors' program, launched in 2009, double matches any employee donations of dollars or time to feeding programs. As of April 30th $208,755 was distributed matching employee gifts of time and money.

General Mills has announced a series of actions to support its employees and communities in response to the impact of COVID-19, including: an opportunity for corporate employees to work at manufacturing plants; enhanced benefits for plant employees, including a daily bonus; and $5 million in charitable grants by the General Mills Foundation to support food access in key global markets and support for the company's manufacturing communities around the world.

Most GM employees are working from home to reduce the spread of the virus. GM employees are rolling up their sleeves to donate blood and assemble face masks in addition to donating to United Way’s 211 and DonorsChoose.
Honda
Honda will pay full wages as it enacts temporary production shutdown in US
As the coronavirus continues its spread in the US and North America, Honda has pulled the plug for a week. The novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, has led to mass production disruptions across Europe, but Honda has become the first automaker to declare a stoppage in North America.
Honeywell
To address growing demand of masks during the outbreak of the coronavirus disease, COVID-19, Honeywell is quickly ramping up production and making millions of the N95 masks in the United States. Those N95 face masks will be delivered to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for use to support health, safety and emergency response workers.
Honeywell expects the new mask production line in Smithfield will create at least 500 jobs. Recruiting, hiring and training manufacturing workers will begin immediately.
Iron Mountain
Iron Mountain has an established employee relief fund that was designed to support employees in times of tragedy. In the past, the fund has helped employees and their families recovering from events like natural disasters or house fires, but can now be used to support employees impacted most by COVID-19.
Just Born
Just Born Quality Confections has provided Virtual Volunteer Opportunities to our associates. They are encouraging them to volunteer from the safety of their own homes by making fabric masks, writing cards and donating needed items to local non-profits.
Although deemed an “essential business” by state and federal authorities, Just Born Quality Confections made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend production at the end of March to help “flatten the curve” while helping ensure the health and safety of our associates, which is our top priority. During this time, all Just Born Associates will continue to be paid.
Our internal COVID-19 task force will continue to regularly monitor the impact of the virus and unless the situation worsens, we plan to get back to producing our iconic candy on 5/4/20. We have already been making changes to processes and procedures in our facilities to help optimize our associates’ health and safety when they return. We will also provide a temporary increase in pay for those plant associates who return to work.
Kroger
Kroger Co. said it is providing a coronavirus test for its employees to use at home, as retailers and other companies redouble efforts to protect employees and customers amid the pandemic. Kroger is processing the tests in a partnership with Gravity Diagnostics LLC, a Kentucky-based laboratory-testing company. The Food and Drug Administration said it authorized the partnership’s kit in June. Kroger and Gravity said they plan to have the capacity to process 60,000 tests a week by the end of July.
Kroger recently announced that it will provide a one-time payment of $100 to all associates who receive the full manufacturer-recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition to the new vaccine payment, the company also announced an additional $50 million investment to thank and reward associates across its 35-state footprint, including a $100 store credit and 1,000 fuel points for hourly frontline grocery, supply chain, manufacturing, pharmacy and call center associates.
KPMG
To support the overall well-being of KPMG professionals and their families, the firm introduced several enhancements to its caregiver benefits and new resources as the new school year begins with virtual and hybrid learning models. These newly enhanced offerings include: increasing back-up care uses; expanding access to discounted tutoring, academic support, and homework assistance (Pre-K through 12th grade); expanding its network of child care centers; launching an innovative collective and customizable learning experience for school age children. These enhancements build upon the family care solutions already provided, which include discounted nanny placement, tutoring and caregiver databases, and virtual learning experiences. In addition, in March the firm expanded its paid leave policy to help people who may have unexpected issues related to the COVID-19 virus that prevent them from working, such as caring for themselves or family members.
Liberty Mutual Insurance
Liberty Mutual is committed putting people first by helping relieve some of their employees’ stress and providing the flexibility they need to balance their work and family during this time. As they actively monitor the situation, they’re taking proactive steps to help keep their employees and their families healthy. Among other actions, they’ve enabled their employees to work remotely and provided resources according to guidelines from government and healthcare officials.
Lowe’s
Lowe's is committing $25 million to support the emerging needs of its associates, customers and communities. This includes a $10 million donation in essential protective products to do their part in helping to keep medical professionals on the frontlines of this crisis healthy and safe. These funds will also support the Lowe's Employee Relief Fund and offer small business relief for its Pros.
Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft is giving its workers an additional three months of paid parental leave to deal with extended school closures due to the coronavirus outbreak. Parents who work for Microsoft can choose how and when to use the leave — whether it's a three-month stretch or a few days a week.

All 30 MLB teams have pledged $1 million each to support their workers as the MLB season is suspended until further notice.

Morton Salt is providing those employees who continue to perform essential production and on-site duties with a one-time bonus of $500, representing a pledge of $1.5 million in bonuses across Morton and its affiliates throughout North and South America.
Morton Salt announced that in response to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the company and its affiliates in North and South America will thank employees continuing to operate its salt production sites and performing essential roles at other company locations with a pledge of $1.5 million in bonus payments, and will also donate $500,000 to nonprofit organizations for COVID-19 relief.

A newly released report from the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) highlights activity in more than 20 states to address workers compensation presumptions of compensability in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. NCCI’s 2020 Regulatory and Legislative Trends Report provides an overview of actions by state legislatures, governors, and regulators (through July 31, 2020) to address workers compensation insurance. “We have seen a wide range of responses to the pandemic from policymakers,” said Bill Donnell, president and CEO of NCCI. “Our new report provides stakeholders in the workers compensation system with perspective to help them make informed decisions.”

To safeguard employee health, Northrop Grumman is requiring telecommuting for those able to do so, providing the resources and guidance on how to navigate working from home while staying connected to the larger company culture and community. For those whose work requires them to come in person, creating a safe workspace is paramount. These guiding principles became effective as of March 16, 2020—when PMI directed most office-based employees to work from home—and will remain until the company determines that the crisis has passed or has sufficiently subsided. The company has pledged not to terminate the employment of any PMI employee during this crisis period, unless for cause; and to continue to provide regular compensation to all PMI employees, irrespective of their ability to perform fully their professional duties during this period.

PSEG announced it is donating 50,000 N95 respirator masks to one of New Jersey's largest health care systems to help the community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
QVC Inc.
Qurate Retail Group, with member company QVC, commited $19 million in emergency pay/benefits for its teams. The funds will provide supplement benefits to team members to help offset healthcare costs associated with COVID-19. The funds will also offer various additional pay and benefits for team members whose work is required to be done on-site an provide all on-site team members with the option to stay at home, supported by various pay and benefits not normally available to them.
SAIC
SAIC announced the establishment of the SAIC Charitable Foundation, an organization to assist employees and their dependents by providing emergency funds to assist them when financial hardships arise. The foundation will accept donations from SAIC, its board of directors, shareholders, employees, retirees, the public, and other company stakeholders worldwide, in order to provide a safety net for SAIC employees. Its immediate focus will be to ensure employees and their families are able to weather complications related to the COVID-19 pandemic or other disaster-related emergencies. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, SAIC and its employees have supported local food banks, donated paid leave hours, and created and provided personal protective equipment to first responders. This is all in addition to its support for a diverse array of charities and philanthropic organizations serving missions that are core to SAIC’s culture of giving, including Feeding America, Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Building Homes for Heroes. Tanger Outlets
Tanger’s executive leadership team and Board of Directors have elected to temporarily reduce their base salaries and cash retainers, respectively, in an effort to avoid a workforce reduction and to maintain healthcare benefits for all employees. Mr. Tanger has agreed to a 50% reduction and the remainder of the Company’s named executive officers, including Mr. Yalof, and the Board of Directors have agreed to a 25% reduction. Lesser reductions in salaries and wages for other officers and certain employees will also apply.
Target
Target stores across the country continue helping millions of guests shop for the food, medicine and other essentials they need, the retailer today announced new safety measures to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Effective April 4, Target will actively monitor and, when needed, meter guest traffic in its nearly 1,900 stores nationwide to promote social distancing. Additionally, Target will supply its more than 350,000 team members in stores and distribution centers with face masks and gloves to wear at work, while continuing to encourage healthy hygiene habits as provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These updates are on top of action the company has taken in recent weeks with the health and safety of its guests and team members in mind, such as rigorous cleaning routines at its stores and distribution centers; social distancing measures like floor signage to encourage guests and team members to remain six feet apart; Plexiglass partitions at all registers; and contactless order pickup and home delivery.

TD Ameritrade awarded special $1,000 stipends to every employee at the director level and below, to address the residual impacts of working from home. In addition, TD Ameritrade opened a one-time PTO Buy-Back Program allowing employees to sell back some of their unused PTO hours to TD Ameritrade. This allows employees to free up funding to use based on their individual needs including bills, unexpected expenses, meals or charitable giving.
Texas Instruments
TI has provided extended benfits to support employees and their families, including: four weeks additional paid time off, for employees who have personal situations related to COVID-19; extended medical benefits for any TIer who has the COVID-19 virus or has been exposed; online learning resources help parents who are juggling schooling and/or caring for children while working from home; eight free counseling sessions to support the mental well-being of TIers; and online exercise classes and nutrition resources through a free interactive fitness app.
Toyota Motor Corp.
Toyota is supporting its manufacturing workforce with childcare offerings. About 45 children of Toyota employees are attending a new virtual-learning center at a car plant in Georgetown, KY, run by Bright Horizons Family Solutions Inc. The children use laptops to do schoolwork, while in-person teachers monitor their progress. Toyota said this has helped workers show up and be more productive at work. “They don’t need to stress about how their kids will do school,” said Myriah Sweeney, who helps oversee the program at Toyota.
Travelers
Travelers announced that it will accelerate commission payments to eligible agents and brokers to help them address the liquidity impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. In total, Travelers is accelerating more than $100 million, a significant boost of cash flow to its distribution partners when they need it most.
Travelers was featured in an article in the Hartford Business Journal, recognizing its efforts to make corporate volunteerism a virtual experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rita Ortiz, director of community relations at The Travelers Companies, said that virtual volunteering has been a great way to engage Travelers employees as they worked remotely. “It sometimes becomes even more of a personal experience—you feel almost closer although you’re farther away. It allows us to engage even more to a certain degree because we have the flexibility of just jumping online.”
US Bank
US Bank created their Premium Pay Program which will provide critical front-line employees with a temporary 20% hourly wage increase.
Verizon
Verizon has been closely monitoring network usage in the most impacted areas. The company will work with and prioritize network demand in assisting the needs of many U.S. hospitals, first responders and government agencies. Like any crisis or significant event in which additional network resources may be needed, the company is able to deploy additional resources to add capacity and has a fleet of mobile assets including portable COLTs (cells on light trucks) and COWs (cells on wheels/trucks), mobile charging stations, and more to support first responders and their mission critical needs.
Webster Bank
Webster Bank was featured in an article in the Hartford Business Journal, recognizing its efforts to make corporate volunteerism a virtual experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kathryn Luria, senior vice president for community affairs at Webster Bank shared that the virus crisis may lead to more impactful volunteering over time as companies utilize their best talent to help nonprofits via online platforms. “It’s going to be opening doors in ways that we have yet to even see. There are going to be a lot more opportunities for bankers to be involved.”
Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo has also activated assistance for employees via its WE Care Fund, which provides grants to Wells Fargo colleagues who face a catastrophic disaster or financial hardship resulting from an event beyond their control. This program is available to those affected by coronavirus and is intended to help team members, especially those with limited resources, get back on their feet with basic necessities.
Wells Fargo adjusted its short-term disability plan for U.S.-based employees so that, if they test positive for COVID-19, they will not need to use paid time off during the seven-day waiting period. U.S. medical plans were updated to eliminate coinsurance and fully cover the cost of any medically necessary screening and testing for COVID-19. In addition, through June 14, 2020, cost sharing will be reduced to zero dollars for medical virtual office visits for any reason at a number of providers. Wells Fargo granted up to five paid business days off after a school system’s closure announcement to U.S. hourly employees who can’t work remotely so they can find child care. Approximately 170,000 U.S. and international employees received a special one-time cash award to recognize their focus and dedication to the company throughout 2019, and employees whose roles require they come into the office to serve customers or other employees will receive additional cash payments.
Yum! Brands
Yum! Brands has dedicated itself to protecting its customers and employees in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Efforts include the launching of a global medical relief fund to provide financial support for restaurant employees at company and franchise-owned stores who are diagnosed with or who are caring for someone diagnosed with COVID-19; KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill are focused on making food safely available in a low-contact, convenient way that protects both customers and employees, following local government and public health guidance; working with franchisees who need access to more capital and are in good standing to provide assistance, including grace periods for certain near-term payments where necessary; and in the U.S. and internationally, the Yum! Foundation is providing financial support to more than 20 food banks.

Bank of America has announced it is committing $100 million to support local communities in need as the world faces unprecedented challenges from the coronavirus. The funds will help increase medical response capacity, address food insecurity, increase access to learning as a result of school closures, and provide support to the world’s most vulnerable populations.
Berkshire Bank
Berkshire Bank announced that its Foundation will make $130,000 in donations to Food Banks in communities across its markets to address the increased demand for food assistance resulting from COVID-19. These additional contributions raise the bank’s financial commitment to addressing food insecurity to more than $180,000 in 2020. The pandemic has severely impacted all of the communities that Berkshire Bank serves, and food insecurity remains a considerable need. As a result, food banks face significant increased demand for services. These funds will allow food banks to continue to support the local food pantries that directly provide emergency relief and feeding assistance in the communities where Berkshire Bank employees and customers live and work.

Campbell Soup Company
Campbell is donating $1 million in cash and food to food banks in the communities where they operate. In addition to funding, they will dedicate production runs in their plants to assist local food banks until the pandemic subsides. Thirty-three Campbell hometowns across the country, from Ohio to Puerto Rico, will benefit from direct assistance.
Campbell Soup Co., after their initial commitment in March 2020 to donate $1 million in cash and food to food banks in the communities where it operates, has raised their donations to $5 million.
With so many in need across North America, Campbell’s announced over $1 million in COVID-19 relief grants, bringing its total contributions to over $8 million in food and financial support to organizations in its hometowns. The Campbell Soup Foundation recently granted a total of $415,000 to three organizations as part of its strategic COVID-19 support: Active Schools, Girls on the Run International, and National Farm to School Network. These grants were made to national and regional partners with the scale to make a large impact on relief efforts across Campbell communities. Campbell’s also created a fund where organizations across its footprint can apply to receive COVID-19 relief grants up to $25,000 each. The fund is open to organizations whose work supports The Campbell Soup Foundation’s mission and focus areas, and it began accepting applications for these grants earlier this fall, and are excited to announce the first round of recipients, totaling $892,500 across 42 organizations.
CITGO
CITGO retailers in Mount Pleasant, Michigan are stepping up to Fuel Good in the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CITGO stations are providing $0.99 meals for children unable to rely on school lunches during the statewide stay-at-home order.
In an effort to assist vulnerable communities cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Simón Bolívar Foundation, the non-profit, private foundation of CITGO Petroleum Corporation, has launched a food drive program called "Hoy Invita Simón," an initiative that will provide grants of up to $50,000 on a rolling basis to qualified nonprofits to develop food assistance projects. "The Foundation partnered with local nonprofits and Venezuelan restaurants to provide hot meals to families impacted by the pandemic," said Mariela Poleo, president of the Simón Bolívar Foundation. The success of the pilot program confirmed the need for this type of initiative to help the Venezuelan diaspora in the United States. "Because the response was strong and immediate," she continued, "we quickly worked to create the framework to accommodate an open call to more organizations interested in developing similar efforts in more cities."
Consumers Energy
The Consumers Energy Foundation is supporting two statewide organizations (The Food Bank Council of Michigan and the Michigan Association of United Ways) with a $500,000 contribution to help enhance critical services for Michigan children, vulnerable seniors and those who may need assistance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort started donations of surplus food to help the local communities during temporary closures.
Duke Energy
Duke Energy is donating $1.3 million to health and human services and hunger relief efforts in the seven states it serves.
Duke Energy and its subsidiary, Piedmont Natural Gas, donated $25,000 to the Nashville Food Project to help with their COVID-19 relief programs. The Nashville Food Project normally gives more than 5,000 prepared meals a week to other nonprofits that distribute the food to those in need, but have since transitioned to distributing fresh produce and groceries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third Bank’s annual “Feeding Our Communities” initiative, held each year in May, provided more than 2.2 million meals to fight hunger across its 10-state footprint, significantly exceeding its pledge to provide 1.6 million meals this year. The meals were donated to more than 30 food organizations in honor of the Bank’s annual companywide community celebration in May, centered on “Fifth Third Day” on May 3 or 5/3. “We always look forward to Fifth Third Day as a way to celebrate with our employees and further demonstrate our commitment to our communities,” said Greg Carmichael, Fifth Third’s chairman, president and CEO. “This year was especially important given the impact of the pandemic among the most vulnerable, and we are grateful for the generosity of our team. Together, we have provided a total of 2.2 million meals, which represents an impressive 600,000 additional meals above our initial pledge at the beginning of May.”

Fiserv partnered with the USO of Metro New York to create the Pier 94 USO Center for the service members aboard the USNS Comfort along with Guard, Reserve, and active duty service members deployed to New York City in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Fiserv also worked with the Girls Scouts of Greater New York to stock the center with 2,000 boxes of delicious Girl Scout cookies. Fiserv generously donated to CARE to aid frontline workers, Feeding America to combat food shortages, the United Way of the Midlands to provide essential services to low-income communities, and ROAR to provide relief to the NYC restaurant industry.
General Mills
General Mills created an app with Feeding America to prevent food waste from this year's Super Bowl, but the app is proving to be useful once again. Food from restaurants and cafeterias that would go to waste during times of self-quarantine can now be donated to Feeding America through the Meal Connect app.
General Mills facilities will manufacture and immediately donate $5 million worth of product to Feeding America food banks. They will create an option for employees to work at food-related charities in the Twin Cities while retaining their regular pay.
To help support children facing hunger during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cheerios is donating $1.3 million to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign focused on ending childhood hunger in America.

A portion of Cheerios’ donation will benefit Corsicana’s local FJV Foundation in their efforts to build a food pantry, which will allow them to serve more families in the community.
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation also announced it will contribute $52,000 to The Dimock Center to sponsor and coordinate the Boston COVID-19 Relief Meal Delivery Project. Starting today and running through at least May 5th, Boston-based caterers Fresh Food Generation and Commonwealth Kitchen will prepare approximately 600 weekly meals for The Dimock Center’s Early Education families. As part of this project, meals will be delivered twice weekly to The Dimock Center in Roxbury for pick-up with full compliance for social distancing. As a result of The Dimock Center’s sponsorship of the meals program with Fresh Food Generation, 15 people will now be back to work helping others.

JetBlue's crewmembers in Fort Lauderdale came together to donate snacks to healthcare workers at the Broward Health Medical Center. Crewmember volunteers delivered dozens of boxes of snacks and Eat Up boxes to the heroes who are working around the clock to help combat the coronavirus pandemic. They also teamed up with longstanding partners at TERRA to donate 100,000 bags of chips to be distributed to those in need. This donation to Feeding America will go directly to those in our local communities who need it most.
LyondellBasell
LyondellBasell announced a $1.3 million donation to support the COVID-19 response efforts of the Global FoodBanking Network and United States local food banks. LyondellBasell's donation will support food banks in 17 countries and communities where the company has major operations.

Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) announced a joint donation of $1 million to help fight hunger as a result of school closures and quarantines stemming from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

As part of Nasdaq's $6 million philanthropic commitment, a cash donation will be provided to the World Central Kitchen’s #ChefsForAmerica relief efforts to provide meals to students, seniors, and vulnerable communities in need.

PSEG and PSEG Long Island have reached out to local food banks to reduce food insecurity and support communities in need, donating from the PSEG Foundation $45,000 each to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Island Harvest Food Bank on Long Island.

PwC is donating $500,000 to Feeding America in order to ensure that children are adequately fed during the crisis.
Raytheon Technologies
Raytheon Technologies is funding the equivalent of 50 million meals to Feeding America®, a domestic hunger-relief organization that supports food banks and food-security initiatives across the United States. The company has also launched a relief fund that will match employees’ individual donations to Feeding America as well as other nonprofit organizations, including the Global Foodbanking Network, which serves over 40 countries.
S&P Global
As part of its $4 million allocation, the S&P Global Foundation has provided grants globally to address food insecurity resulting from COVID-19. In the U.S., grants went to Feeding America, Why Hunger, and Food Bank for New York; in India, to Akshaya Patra, the Sambhav Foundation, and Smile Foundation to help supply food provisions and sanitation kits for daily wage earners and migrant workers; in Pakistan, to Akhuwat to support food provisions for daily wage earners; in Argentina, to support the multi-corporate #SeamosUno initiative to deliver 1 million boxes of food and hygiene supplies to vulnerable Argentines; in Brazil, to Habitat para a Humanidade Brasil to provide food, water and hygiene products to poor families in rural communities; and in Europe, to the King Baudouin Foundation USA’s European Emergency Fund to support hunger relief efforts in Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and the UK.
Sallie Mae
Sallie Mae’s charitable arm, The Sallie Mae Fund, donated $1 million to local food banks in Delaware, Indiana, Massachusetts, Utah, and Virginia.
Subaru of America
Through the Subaru Love Promise, a commitment to support its communities, Subaru and its retailers across the country are making a donation to provide 50 million meals to Feeding America. This action, called Subaru Loves to Help, will make meals available at 199 local food banks across the country. In addition, Subaru retailers will be working to see how else they can help these local food banks, including food drives, donations, and volunteer events. Subaru and its retailers want to immediately help those affected and Subaru knows its ongoing support will be necessary as its local communities work to get back on their feet.
Thanks to $26,315.97 awarded to the Food Bank of South Jersey by the Subaru Loves to Help Grant, South Jersey’s largest hunger-relief organization bolstered and expanded its vital food items sorting room – enabling the organization to increase sorting capacity in its mission to feed South Jersey. “Thanks to Subaru, we were able to efficiently address the priority of expanding our sorting room, which was a vital operational capacity concern during the early days of responding to the food-insecurity spike due to the pandemic,” reports Fred C. Wasiak, President and CEO of the Food Bank of South Jersey. “The expansion of our sorting room greatly increases our capacity to fulfill our mission in feeding South Jersey’s most food-vulnerable communities.”
Sysco
Sysco announced it will donate 2.5 million meals over the next four weeks as part of its community response strategy to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sysco has worked with suppliers, customers, government entities, and key partners to donate more than 13.5 million meals over the last four weeks as part of its community response strategy to COVID-19. Their four-pronged community response strategy supports food redistribution efforts across the global supply chain, including product donations, direct delivery to food banks and other hunger relief organizations, the loaning of refrigerated trucks and facility storage space to increase capacity for local food distribution, and volunteer and staffing support for mobile distribution efforts.
Sysco has since announced that it has donated 30 million meals across eight countries since mid-March as part of its community response strategy to the COVID-19 pandemic. These donations were valued at over $100 million and included nearly 16 million pounds of fresh produce and approximately six million pounds of fresh dairy products.
TELUS
TELUS has committed $10 million for COVID-19 response, specifically to help support and enhance public healthcare capacity and community response across Canada. This new funding will go toward purchasing new medical technology and equipment, such as ventilators, as well as increased support for food security, outreach to isolated seniors, virtual education programs, and mental health initiatives. “During this unprecedented time of crisis, and reflecting our world-leading philanthropy and volunteerism in helping our fellow citizens, we are taking responsibility to ensure our communities are fully supported. Our $10 million commitment will enable swift funding solutions where they are needed most,” said Darren Entwistle, president and CEO.
Texas Mutual
Texas Mutual has committed $2 million in grant funding or nonprofit organizations across the state that are vital to COVID-19 relief and recovery. The grants will go to 40 nonprofit organizations, including Meals on Wheels, United Way, local food banks, community health organizations, and more that are on the front lines of the COVID-19 efforts. It has also donated $50,000 to All Together ATX, a partnership of Austin Community Foundation and United Way for Greater Austin, focused on lifting all Central Texans and the organizations that support them. Additionally, a number of nonprofit organizations that received workforce development grants from Texas Mutual earlier this year have been released to use those grants not just on specific programs but for meeting the needs they have now, whether that is payroll for staff or supplies to serve those in need. Texas Mutual has also assisted Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas by catering meals from locally owned restaurants since volunteers aren’t able to prepare meals for residents during this time.

Webster Bank will donate $250,000 to support nonprofit organizations throughout the bank’s footprint, including support for Feeding America Food Banks.

Wells Fargo accelerated national funding to help nonprofits serve the immediate needs of vulnerable populations including a $1 million grant to Feeding America to support their 200 member foodbanks as they work to feed people during this time of crisis. In New York City, Wells Fargo and Related Companies — one of the real estate firms that developed Hudson Yards— joined to donate $1 million to World Central Kitchen, founded by chef José Andrés. Through this grant, World Central Kitchen will create and serve as many as 100,000 meals to doctors, nurses, soldiers, police officers, EMTs, and first responders. In South Los Angeles, Wells Fargo provided a $10,000 grant to the nonprofit Big Sunday, enabling it to purchase meals from local restaurants to feed Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital employees dinner every Wednesday in April.

This will be granted through May 31, 2020 at no additional cost.

Bank of America has announced it is committing $100 million to support local communities in need as the world faces unprecedented challenges from the coronavirus. The Duke Energy Foundation is giving $810,000 in grants to support North Carolina K-12 programs focused on summer reading loss, STEM, and experiential learning. They are also giving organizations the option to to use the funds to address unforeseen operational challenges.

Casey Miller, Executive Vice President of Kiddie Academy, shared how the company is staying true to its motto Community Begins Here® through the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are committed to supporting critical workers by caring for their children during this trying time. Many of our Academies have remained open with extra precautions in place, and some of our previously temporarily closed Academies have now reopened in order to continue serving our communities.” For Academies that have temporarily closed, Kiddie Academy’s team has leveraged its curriculum to craft educational activities and “mindful meditations” for keeping children engaged while home.

MLB has 3 resources to help keep kids busy while at home. They are educational and have a baseball theme. They would like help from us letting folks know that these resources can be part of at-home schooling activities. They are: 1) Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Youth Development Toolbox app is available from Apple Store and Google Play. Used regularly by Club staff, YD Toolbox includes lots of fun activities and learning opportunities for children to engage in at home. BGCA is also providing access to its premier online learning platform MyFuture. Families and caregivers can access these digital resources to learn, create, play, and learn valuable skills like coding and digital arts. 2) In partnership with EVERFI, MLB's Summer Slugger program was developed to combat summer learning loss during vacation months, but is even more relevant for students now when they may struggle with knowledge retention due to school closures. The course -- designed for 4th and 5th graders -- focuses on math & literacy skills and teaches these concepts through a baseball-themed, gamified experience. We are proud to offer this resource to students across the U.S. and Canada during these challenging times. And 3) Using baseball as the metaphor for life, the “Breaking Barriers: In Sports, In Life” curriculum is based on the values demonstrated by Jackie Robinson: citizenship, commitment, courage, determination, excellence, integrity, justice, persistence and teamwork. Ken has overseen the technical integration of Zebra mobile computers while Kelly has ordered the round Bernie’s Book Bank labels placed on every book received by a child.

CMS Energy Corporation donated $1.8 million to nine organizations to provide a lifeline to small businesses across Michigan, focusing in particular on helping female- and minority-owned businesses.
Columbia Bank
Columbia Bank announced that it has funded nearly $1 billion in loans to more than 4,400 small businesses through the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The loans will provide relief for more than 70,000 workers throughout the Northwest that have been affected by the economic fallout from COVID-19.
Columbia’s new Pass it On Project also aims to put small businesses throughout the Northwest back to work with a focus on those struggling the most. Through this program, Columbia will pay small businesses more than $500,000 to perform services for people whose lives have been adversely impacted by the pandemic or the economic downturn it caused.
Comerica Bank
Comerica Bank and Comerica Charitable Foundation will invest $4 million in community programming support and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. These funds will be primarily deployed to Community Development Financial Institutions to support strategic programs designed to meet the needs of small and micro businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19. Community service organizations that provide services to youth, seniors and other vulnerable populations also will receive funds as part of this effort, particularly those organizations addressing food insecurities and access to health care. Comerica is also expediting $500,000 of planned funding to several local United Way organizations in its markets.
Building off this investment, Comerica Bank announced its $1 million commitment over four years to the National Business League as part of a national partnership that will launch the Black Capital Access Program (BCAP), an access to capital initiative to assist Black businesses across the country.
Clearinghouse Community Development Financial Institution (Clearinghouse CDFI) announced a $1.1 million equity investment from Comerica Bank, a financial services company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The investment will be leveraged ten times for direct lending in low-income and distressed communities. Comerica Bank, the largest bank in Texas, also has retail operations in California, Arizona, Florida, and Michigan. This is Comerica Bank’s second equity investment in Clearinghouse CDFI.

Deere ingenuity makes use of in-house 3D-printing technology to improve employee safety, manufacturing face shields to affix to existing bump-guard ballcaps. Company releases plans via its COVID-19 innovation page, free of charge, so other companies can do the same.
Duke Energy
Duke Energy, partnering with Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the Northern Kentucky Chamber, has pledged $150,000 to support women-, veteran-, and minority-owned small businesses impacted by the pandemic in the greater Cincinnati area. Each chamber will receive $75,000 from Duke Energy to be distributed to qualified small businesses. “We’ve continued to hear from our small business customers that they are having the hardest time trying to get funding to not only stay afloat, but to keep their doors open,” said Amy Spiller, president of Duke Energy Ohio and Kentucky. “This is a way for us to have a direct impact on a critical customer segment.”
FedEx Corp
FedEx announced the completion of the company’s #SupportSmall Grants program. Two-hundred business owners were chosen out of almost 50,0000 applications to receive a $5,000 check as well as a $500 credit for FedEx Office® print and business services to help support their small business during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Forty-three percent of the grant recipients say they plan to use the money to upgrade or enhance their website, 40% hope to use it for marketing or advertising and 16% say they’ll create an online store. Approximately 47% of the grants were issued to minority and women-owned businesses. Grantees can use the $500 credit from FedEx Office for printing banners, posters, floor graphics, custom branded boxes and more.
Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third Bank is offering the two relief programs for business customers facing financial hardship related to COVID-19: a Small Business Payment Deferral Program, offering a payment deferral program for up to 90 days, no late fees and a range of loan modification options; and a Fee Waiver Program, which will refund select fees for 90 days for Business Banking deposit accounts and services.

Throughout 2021, QVC US, HSN, and Zulily – which reach more than 90 million homes in the U.S. via broadcast channels and millions more via digital and social platforms – will promote selected small businesses during heritage and recognition months, including Black History Month (February), Women’s History Month (March), National Military Appreciation Month (May), Pride Month (June), National Hispanic Heritage Month (September), and National Disability Employment Awareness Month (October). Sysco Corporation announced that it will launch a social media campaign through the month of April called Take Out to Give Back, in conjunction with No Kid Hungry, to provide healthy and nutritious meals in underserved communities while promoting the restaurant industry during the COVID-19 global pandemic. The campaign encourages users to buy a gift card or order take out or delivery from local restaurants, and post about it on their social media accounts. For every post, Sysco will give 50 cents to No Kid Hungry.
Sysco Corporation is helping local restaurants turn into pop up grocery stores. As demand for food increases and supplies seem to decrease at stores, lfood shortages are becoming a worry for many stores. Restaurants are becoming temporary grocery stores to allow customers to safely purchase the essential pantry items that they need for their families.
Sysco Corporation launched a new “Foodservice Doesn’t Brake for Adversity” campaign designed to help small foodservice businesses stay in business. The campaign will consist of strategically placed messages across multiple channels designed to encourage Americans to support their local restaurants and also highlights the resilience of all foodservice workers. The national campaign includes both television and digital advertising, customer toolkits and resources to help restaurant owners navigate current business challenges.
Sysco is also extending its pledge through May 31 to donate $0.50 to No Kid Hungry for every photo of a restaurant takeout meal shared on social media with the hashtags #TakeOutToGiveBack and #TeamNoKidHungry.

Verizon announced the launch of Pay it Forward Live, a weekly streaming entertainment series that will include music, gaming, comedy and more in support of small businesses affected by COVID-19. For each use of the hashtag #PayitForwardLIVE Verizon will donate additional money to LISC.org to support small businesses, up to $2.5 million.

Fifth Third Bank announced actions on March 16 to support its employees and customers, ensuring business continuity throughout the quickly-evolving health and economic environment. The bank recommended that customers continue to leverage digital banking tools and resources for self-service banking. It has also created additional benefits to cover its employees, who will continue to be paid if they become sick, are taking care of a family member who is ill, or are navigating daycare or school closures.

Lowes rolled out 14-days of emergency paid leave for their associates that need it, whether that’s because they are feeling sick, caring for a loved one, or because they have been faced with new hardships such as closed schools and daycares. They have also extended our telemedicine benefit through Teladoc to all associates and their families whether they are seasonal, temporary, part-time or full-time, regardless if they are enrolled in Lowe’s medical plan.

Similarly, Alexion is committed to serving local communities through volunteerism, even when circumstances do not allow us to do so in person. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and local stay-at-home orders, Alexion has begun offering virtual volunteering opportunities to employees.

Throughout the COVID-19 state of emergency, Allstate will automatically cover customers who use their personal vehicles to deliver food, medicine and other goods for a commercial purpose. Standard personal auto policies typically exclude such coverage.
Allstate announced that it will return $600 million in auto premiums to customers as pandemic cuts driving.
Ally Financial
Ally Financial is deferring payment for auto customers up to 120 days, payment for mortgage customers up to 120 days, and gives new auto customers the option to delay first payment for 90 days.
Ally Financial announced that it was forgiving many customer's negative bank account balances — without expecting repayment — in order for them to receive their full $1,200 coronavirus stimulus payment. As part of the relief package passed by US lawmakers in March, banks can use the direct deposit payments to pay off debts owed by the customer receiving the check. Ally, however, said it would erase any overdrafts and not ask for customers to repay anything.

American Electric Power line workers and other critical employees are working in smaller teams, practicing physical distancing, wearing facial coverings when physical distancing is not possible, monitoring themselves for symptoms and taking other prevention measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). All employees who can work from home (approximately 12,000 people) are doing so. American Electric Power employees are continually monitoring the situation and reviewing their responses and the guidance they are providing to their employees as the situation evolves. They also are working with state and local officials to ensure that equipment suppliers and support industries essential to our business can continue operating.

Aramark announced its uniform services division will redeploy production lines in order to manufacture essential personal protective equipment (PPE) for the heroes working in hospitals and in other critical roles across the United States. Aramark expects to produce millions of masks, scrubs and isolation gowns. The first shipment of scrubs and isolation gowns was delivered to clients last week, and the production of respirator and medical masks is scheduled to begin by mid-July.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts announced a new effort with the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers ("the League") to help provide equitable access to COVID-19 vaccinations. Blue Cross will contribute $1 million to fund free rides to and from COVID-19 vaccination sites across the state to support community health centers, underserved communities, and vulnerable populations. The new initiative was announced during a press conference today with Governor Charlie Baker at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. Blue Cross' contribution will support tens of thousands of free rides to and from COVID-19 vaccination sites. The goal is to launch the program in the next few weeks in coordination with the League, which will assist in identifying participating community health centers. "The goal now is to get people vaccinated, and access to those appointments is critical," said Andrew Dreyfus, Blue Cross' president and CEO. "We know lack of access to transportation is a significant barrier in communities hard hit by COVID-19. The Community Health Centers' deep experience will help connect more of our neighbors with vaccines that can save lives and help end the pandemic."

Commitments made by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to provide financial support to members, employers, providers, and community organizations to address the COVID-19 pandemic are projected to reach up to $593 million, with $318 million in projected costs to improve access to care and $275 million projected to address cash flow challenges facing members, employers and providers. Blue Cross NC’s swift action to increase access to care for members during the COVID-19 crisis is projected to result in up to $313 million in financial support. Blue Cross NC is also immediately providing an additional $5 million to support organizations improving access to food and other critical community needs, and is taking action to improve cash flow for members, employers and providers by providing an additional $275 million.

Starting immediately Blue Shield is waiving all cost-sharing and any prior approval for Covid-19 testing prescribed by a physician for all members enrolled in Blue Shield’s fully insured commercial and Medi-Cal plans. This includes cost-sharing for hospital, urgent care, emergency room, and office visits where the visit is to screen or test for the virus. Blue Shield also will not require prior authorization for medically necessary emergency care, consistent with our current practice.

CenterPoint has temporarily suspended natural gas service and electricity disconnections for nonpayment.
Cigna
Cigna customers will have access to coronavirus (COVID-19) testing, as prescribed by health practitioners, and the company will waive all co-pays or cost-shares to help fight the rapid spread of the virus in the U.S. and for its globally mobile customers. Cigna will also set up a 24/7 customer resource center.
CommScope
CommScope is working with nonprofit organizations and its partners and employees to provide much needed assistance around the world for the COVID-19 pandemic. In China, Europe, and the U.S., CommScope donated product and expedited delivery of in-building wireless systems as new hospitals were built to support COVID-19 patients. Similarly, in conjunction with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), CommScope donated outdoor wireless access points and switches, free support for a year, and cash to assist with pop-up centers for emergency healthcare delivery and homework hot spots. CommScope is also providing technical support for schools in their transformation towards distance learning, producing face shields for frontline workers, and made financial donations to several organizations.

To further assist families and businesses experiencing financial stress during this public health crisis, all Exelon utilities -- Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO, and Pepco – and Constellation have suspended service disconnections and are waiving new late payment charges until at least May 1. In addition, the Exelon Generation power plants are supporting local food banks, senior centers and other aid organizations in surrounding communities.
Fannie Mae
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and the Department of Housing and Urban Development all plan to suspend mortgage foreclosures, adding to the federal government’s aggressive response to help Americans hit hard by the economic pain of the coronavirus. Fannie and Freddie, mortgage giants that backstop about $5 trillion of home loans, will halt foreclosures for 60 days, their regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency said in a Wednesday statement.
To continue to assist renters in multifamily units and support Fannie Mae-financed multifamily property owners experiencing difficulties during this period of financial uncertainty, Fannie Mae announced the extension of its multifamily COVID-19 forbearance program through March 31, 2021. The program, which requires landlords to suspend all evictions for renters unable to pay rent during the forbearance period, was formerly set to expire on December 31, 2020.

FedEx is suspending their money-back guarantee for all FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and FedEx Office services as well as not requiring signatures upon delivery. The company is also helping humanitarian aid organization, Direct Relief ship and distribute 250,000 N95 masks to other personal protective equipment to nearly 1,000 community health centers and free clinics in all 50 states that are playing a critical frontline role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The deliveries by FedEx are a part of FedEx Cares' "Delivering for Good Initiative.”
While there is still work to do, when the vaccine becomes available, FedEx will be ready to deliver millions and eventually billions of doses from the manufacturers to the consumer. Sanofi
Sanofi will use its experience in order to help the development of a Covid-19 vaccine. They will use recombinant technology in order to find the vaccine and develop the capacity to manufacture large quantities of the vaccine. Sanofi is also working on clinical trials of the use of Kevzra as a potential cure for Covid-19.
Sanofi has more recently announced plans to speed a vaccine development timeline that could yield approval from regulatory authorities sometime next year, perhaps in the first half of 2021.

Subaru of America announced a new recycling initiative to recycle personal protective equipment (PPE) waste in response to the increase in waste due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new initiative is an expansion of the automaker’s existing recycling collection partnership with TerraCycle®, the world's leader in the collection and repurposing of complex waste streams. The new collection efforts divert improperly discarded PPE from landfills and incinerators. Target is going to allow for curbside pick-up for their customers. On Saturday, March 7, we started to limit the number of key items per purchase, which will allow more guests to get what they need.
Target will increase physical distancing measures to keep guests and frontline team members safe and healthy, and to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. New social distancing and safety measures include: Beginning April 4, Target will actively monitor and, when needed, meter guest traffic at stores nationwide to promote social distancing. UPS and CVS Health Corporation announced that with UPS subsidiary UPS Flight Forward, they will use drones to deliver prescription medicines from a CVS pharmacy to The Villages, Florida, the largest U.S. retirement community, home to more than 135,000 residents. The drones will allow for a fast delivery option for medicines that are time-senstive. The program also supports social-distancing efforts, as drone delivery options provide individuals with a convenient alternative to visiting a pharmacy.
USAA
USAA will automatically stop charging late fees and temporarily pause non-payment cancellation of USAA Auto & Property insurance coverage for members who need more time to pay their bill as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re also waiving or reimbursing deductibles and co-payments for coronavirus-related testing.
USAA is also returning $800 million in auto dividends to auto policyholders, based on a steady trend of reduced driving and fewer accident claims by members.
Verizon
Verizon is going to leverage their technology and invest into the transition of 5G. They will also be prioritizing networks that have been affected the most of coronavirus to ensure that these areas will have strong internet connections. They will also work to make sure those who need access to Internet, such as students, will be able to do so. Verizon announced the launch of Pay it Forward Live, a weekly streaming entertainment series that will include music, gaming, comedy and more in support of small businesses affected by COVID-19. The series will debut with a performance by Dave Matthews.
Verizon, and dozens of other internet and phone providers have signed an FCC pledge to 'keep Americans connected' even if they can't pay during disruptions caused by coronavirus. The pledge asks companies to keep internet online for customers who can't pay their internet bills, as well as waive late billing fees, as a result of the disruptions caused by the virus.
As part of its effort to keep customers connected, Verizon will extend availability of the current $20 discount through 2020 and waive the first 60 days of router rental charges for new customers. On March 13th, Verizon made a commitment to its customers to not terminate service or charge late fees for postpaid wireless, residential and small business customers who notified us of their inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. We extended that commitment for almost an entire quarter - through June 30 - and Verizon has kept that pledge. Starting July 1, customers who signed up for the Pledge will automatically be enrolled in our Stay Connected repayment program to provide options to stay connected.
Los Angeles Unified School District and Verizon announcedthey have amended their original agreement1 from March of this year to help other school districts in California enable distance learning. The original agreement with Verizon enabled Los Angeles Unified to provide internet access at no cost to students whose families could not otherwise afford it.
Verizon Business released findings from a recent survey, “Small Business Response to COVID-19” to better understand the impact small business owners and decision makers feel COVID-19 has had on their businesses. The survey, conducted by Morning Consult, focused on 500 small and medium businesses that are currently open or plan to reopen. One of the survey’s key results is that small businesses have renewed confidence, with 68% believing they can recoup COVID-19 related losses.

Walgreens will dedicate temporary space at select locations, outside of the stores such as in parking lots, where non-Walgreens health personnel will administer COVID-19 testing. Walgreens is also waiving delivery fees and operating a pharmacy drive-thru. Walgreens also stepped in to provide medications to hundreds of cruise ship passengers stuck without their medications because of a COVID-19 quarantine.

Earlier in March, Webster announced its financial flexibility options for individuals, small business owners and corporations in this uncertain time, including a 90-day foreclosure moratorium on Webster residential loans. Webster also is part of the public-private partnership announced by Gov. Wells Fargo is pausing for 30 days the collection of negative balances existing at the time when government stimulus payments are deposited to customers. Well Fargo will also cash stimulus payment checks for non-customers in its branches, with no fees charged. The company has suspended residential property foreclosure sales, evictions and involuntary automobile repossessions, and is offering fee waivers, payment deferrals, and other expanded assistance for credit card, auto, mortgage, small business, and personal lending customers. It has helped more than 1.3 million consumer and small business customers by deferring over 1 million payments, representing $2.8 billion of principal and interest payments for loans, and providing over 900,000 fee waivers exceeding $30 million from March 9 through April 10.
