Placement Resources

Each spring the placement director holds a comprehensive workshop on the placement process to prepare advanced graduate students to enter the job market in the fall. 

A grant from Boston College’s University Council on Teaching has also enabled the department to bring recent graduates back to campus to discuss their career paths beyond academe. 

The department’s current placement director is Ryan Hanley, who welcomes inquiries from all students regarding all aspects of the placement process.
