Julie A. Canfield, Ph.D., LICSW is a clinical instructor at the School for Social Work. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Concord, Massachusetts and specializes in providing behavioral healthcare to veterans, military couples, and family members that have been impacted by a loved one's military service.
Dr. Canfield received a Ph.D. in Social Work from Smith College where her dissertation studies focused on clinical practice with childhood trauma and improving resiliency among child trauma therapists. Dr. Canfield received her M.S.W. from Hunter College, City University of New York, and her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from New York University.
