Tsana Dimanin MSW, LICSW, NIC is a part-time faculty member at the Boston College School of Social Work. She hails from Detroit, Michigan, and is a BCSSW alumna. She has a private outpatient practice where she sees children, families, and young adults. Tsana specializes in Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations and is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), working as an ASL interpreter in the Boston area. Certifications include a Certification of Psychological Trauma Assessment and Treatment from Boston University as well as a Certification in Forensic Social Work from the National Organization of Forensic Social Workers (NOFSW). Therapeutic and treatment areas of interest include trauma/PTSD, child abuse/neglect, Narrative therapy, CBT, and currently is training to become a Guardian ad Litem for the court system. Professional affiliated organizations include NASW, NESTTD, NOFSW, RID, and MassRID.
