To address global challenges such as climate change, poverty, and access to education, companies are being called upon to work with public and private partners to drive meaningful change. UPS, like many other companies, is meeting this call by pledging to support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—17 ambitious goals with the vision to create the world in which we want to do business, and the world in which we want to live.
Companies that commit to initiatives like the SDGs not only have the opportunity to do good in the world, they are also meeting stakeholder expectations AND working on the frontlines to set the agenda for environmental, social, and governance issues going forward. In this fast-moving flash-talk session about why the SDGs matter to all of us and how companies have a unique role to play in achieving them.
