Yuhan Li is Associate Director of Learning Design in the Center for Digital Innovation in Learning at Boston College. With nearly 8 years of experience supporting faculty teaching in higher education, Yuhan has been consulted with faculty, staff and academic program leadership on the integration of learning sciences, learning design, and user-interface design to create transformative, meaningful and student-centred digital learning experiences.
In her everyday work, she partners with faculty members and assists them with the application of the pedagogical methodology, assessment and engagement strategies, content development and curation, and instructional technologies to create online, hybrid and digitally-enhanced academic courses and programs. Additionally, Yuhan leads the design and development of the course quality reviews and provides supervision of the Learning Design Assistants at CDIL.
With a genuine interest in helping people of all ages learn in diverse contexts, Yuhan served as the lead instructional consultant and designed learning solutions for a diverse group of clients in China (2019-2021), ranging from K12 STEM curriculum innovation pilot for local government, professional development activities for K12 teachers, to specialized therapy programs for autism non-profit organizations.
Yuhan earned two master’s degrees in Instructional Systems Technology and Learning Sciences from Indiana University-Bloomington. Her areas of interest include learning design, user-interface design, assessment for learning, and informal and everyday learning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids doing all kinds of fun and silly activities.
