Why LSEHD Online?

Specialized Programs

We prepare students to grow into reflective professionals and become leaders who empower the success of individuals and communities. Our online programs are designed to help educators address current and future challenges—both theoretical and experiential—at every stage of their careers.

Collaborative Classes

Online learning at LSEHD is not only flexible but highly personal. Students build intimate relationships with instructors and classmates through small classes and hands-on instruction. Breakout rooms—impromptu virtual classrooms—foster open dialogue by allowing instructors to meet with individuals and groups of students.

Close-knit Community

LSEHD is known for its collaborative community of students, faculty, and administrators and our online programs are no exception. You'll join a committed group of educators and mentors who will be there to support you now and after graduation.

World-renowned Faculty

Our virtual programs are taught by our faculty of leading scholar-practitioners who are at the forefront of innovative research projects, contribute policy recommendations, and have experience serving diverse populations locally and globally.

Online Program Webinars

Hearing the different perspectives of my classmates and learning what someone teaching in South Korea or in Kenya or Boston may have to say about a given issue was fascinating. That’s one thing that’s really cool about the Lynch School and your classmates there: you’re located all over the globe but you still have the ability to come together and communicate about a range of topics.

Financial Aid

Education should level the playing field.
We feel the same way about financial aid.

The Lynch School of Education and Human Development provides more than $8.4 million in financial aid to students each year. As a result, the quality of BC’s instruction, the benefit of our alumni network, and the impact a BC degree will have on your employment options is both affordable and invaluable.
