Why BC?

Through my research projects in educational measurement, I discovered my true interest. Since my undergrad was in English, I didn’t receive enough statistical training. That’s why BC’s program, with its strong quantitative focus, is exactly what I need to build a solid foundation.

Academic/Career Interests:

I’m interested in personalized learning and computerized adaptive testing. Since every learner has their own strengths and needs, I believe using technology to find the right way for each person to learn can help more people truly enjoy learning.

Favorite food:

Bubble tea

Favorite weekend activity:

Playing basketball and dancing

Why BC?

I chose BC for my master’s degree because the Lynch School has always, since my undergrad, felt like a place where people truly see and support each other, and I knew I wanted to keep growing in that kind of community.

Academic/Career Interests:

Favorite food:

Cheese (can’t live without it), but specifically Havarti cheese! It’s amazing when slightly melted and eaten with fruit.

Favorite weekend activity:

Biking with my friends across the waterfront, sleeping in, “watching” a tv show in the background while sending my friends accurate reels, unlimited wordle.
